Good morning from a dry E Kent. After yesterday’s horrible weather, we are even promised a little sunshine ☀️! Enjoy your lazy day, Mick.
Things didn’t go well for me yesterday, starting with an icy cold hall for tai chi. The caretaker eventually came to sort it out, but it was still too cold to exercise without our coats on. We retired early to the pub for our restorative cuppa!
Then… when going to the supermarket, the automatic garage door decided to hit me on the head, leaving me with a large lump and headache. I then snapped at poor DH who was trying to be nice to me and burst into tears. Not a good day.
I hope today will be better.
One good thing. The consultant was happy at how Iris’s wounds are healing. An X-ray in January and the possibility of no splint! Her new seasonal plaster looks like a candy cane to me. ?
May today bring ease to those in sorrow, pain or anxiety. Carpe diem. ????

Good Morning Mick and everyone else!
It's still a wee bit blowy and wet here, but I think we got off lightly with this latest storm here in Teesside.
Thank you for the welcome Kalu and Marydoll.
I am waiting for someone to come and repair my fence this morning, then popping up to see my dad and hang some new curtains for him and deliver his shopping.
I have a campervan and discovered a leaking roof light in it yesterday, so that's another job to look forward to!
Hope everyone stays well and warm today ?

Its dark but dry outside at the moment in Brackley this morning.
