Welcome back EV! It’s too late to read all 4 pages - I’ll look at everyone else’s news later.
Light cloud and breezy, not sure about the temperature yet.
I hope the day is kind to everyone!

Good Morning all from dry Harrogate
GD! had just arrived to take doggy out with DH (it is actually her dog)
Good to see you back EllanVannin.
I await my Sainsburies shopping any moment now. I have no particular plans today apart from cleaning and tidying.
That object Marydoll could be an adjustable bath for Dollie's dolls, or maybe fits into a half kitchen sink to hold cutlery? Apart from that I haven't a clue. Personally I think it's been given to you because no one else has a clue and they thought you would work it out?
Hope you mattress and chiropodist didn't clash Mick
Great news Farview you'll be looking forward to seeing them.
Have a great day everyone.

Welcome back EV - lovely to see you. Though I would just like to point out that my leg is fine!

NannyJan, I had been wondering where you were - please keep posting.

Welcome back EllenVannin !

Blossoming Thu 09-Dec-21 09:59:41

Good morning Mick and everybody. The sun is shining in my corner of Lancashire, I wonder how long it will last? The wind has dropped, finally. My plans for today are clearing up in the garden with Mr. B. There doesn’t seem to be any major damage. The usual physio exercises and cycling (indoors) later.

Wishing you all a calm and restful day. Healing thoughts to all who are under the weather. ??

Grandmajean Thu 09-Dec-21 09:39:22

Popped back and found that one of my favourite posters Grandmafrench is back ! you have been so missed. You were one of the first to make me feel welcome when I was very new at the beginning of the year and I never forgot that. Please stay.

Grandmafrench Thu 09-Dec-21 09:38:41

That’s so kind, but no - sorry. Here just to celebrate EV’s return but sending you all warm wishes from the sunny and blue and where there are enough Flamingos ? to make all your Christmas hopes come true. Stay well. x

Grandmadinosaur Thu 09-Dec-21 09:38:16

What a great Christmas present from GNHQ - Ellan Vannin is back! Welcome Ellan - you have been missed as you will see from all the posts. Well done Urms - you deserve a medal for services to Gransnet!

Urmstongran Thu 09-Dec-21 09:36:15

❤️ a red front door - we used to have a similar cheery red at our old house Annapops - the colour was called pillarbox red. The neighbours to rib Himself about it though because he supports Man. Utd!

Oldbutstilluseful Thu 09-Dec-21 09:30:07

Oh GrandmaFrench how lovely to see you posting. I really hope you a considering returning to share your wonderful tales from France. ??

Annapops Thu 09-Dec-21 09:27:30

Well done Urms from me too.

Grandmafrench Thu 09-Dec-21 09:25:37

Oh EV ! How simply wonderful that you’ve returned. Had you any idea how loved you are ? Well, now you do. So pleased you’re well, the family is (almost) all together, and (hopefully) your vacuum cleaner-phobic cats are still keeping you busy with their antics. With the return of the Queen, let the GM celebrations - and crumpet eating commence! Sending you love and good wishes. x (And really well done, Urms)

Annapops Thu 09-Dec-21 09:23:50

Good morning all from a frosty but bright County Durham. I too welcome back EV as I too enjoyed reading her posts. Another here with no idea concerning MD'sgift.
Yesterday proved to be quite productive. My homemade wreaths were taken to the cemetery and I managed to complete the family ones for their front doors. Mine has taken pride of place on my newly painted door. This door must be at least 35 years old and I had considered replacing it with something more modern but DH decided to give it a fresh coat of red paint and I love it. I've never had a red door before and with my wreath it looks so Christmassy. You must share a pic of your DIY wreath notagran. I would love to see it.
Off to see Christmas trees displayed today at local venue. Having visited in 2019 it should be just as imaginative as it was then. They have even created a bug hotel tree, should be interesting!
Have the best day you can everyone.
