Good morning from the Sefton coast where it is dry and calm.
Lots of good news on here today including discovering that Ellen has returned to our fold! EV, can you see me enthusiastically waving to you across the River Mersey? Another gem is farview’s DD and DGC about to land from Dubai. I’m delighted for you.
This afternoon I’m out with friends for coffee and cake. We will put the world to rights and organise our Christmas meal and game. DH is meeting up for food and drinks with his former colleagues.

Good morning all. Polmont is cold this morning at 1°. I can see frost on the cars. Good to see you back Ellanvannin. You were missed. Gingster my art skills are going backwards at the moment. I'm getting frustrated at my inability to paint well. The problem is my eyesight I fear.
Yesterday was busy. A haircut first thing, then I wandered to the book shop to buy some Christmas gifts, bumping into a pal on the way. After that, I visited mum then went to Stirling for my art class. I'm still recovering from the bug so I was tired and had a nap later. I'm struggling with motivation so the blooming cards are only half done and not a present is wrapped. A job for today maybe.
Later this morning, I'm visiting my dd again at her request. She likes company and I like a blether and cuddles with the boys. Apart from that, and maybe finishing cards and starting to wrap presents, I have ironing to do. Life is such a heady whirl!?

WELCOME BACK EllanVannin. You have been missed by so many of us. I look forward to hearing all your news, crumpets too.

I think you live very close to where my parents lived and hearing your tales of going out supermarket shopping was really like a home link for me.

We’re not going out anywhere as my PCR test was positive but luckily my symptoms are very mild and don’t seem to be worsening. I’m counting myself very lucky.

Good morning Michael and all GNs. It’s still pretty dark in South Yorkshire, but it feels colder than yesterday. Not a lot planned for today, except the upholsterer from G Plan is coming this afternoon to fit a new cover to the seat and foot rest on my reclining sofa. He says he’ll be here a couple of hours, so DH will retreat upstairs and I will keep out of the way by doing some baking.
