How do you drink your Bailey's?

This 'thing' for Bailey's has passed me by but I'm determined to try harder so - how do you drink your Bailey's? What sort of a glass, with ice, without, with something else?

And does it actually have an apostrophe?

God forgive me - over ice in a half pint glass and I'm not even a drinker normally!

Might make Baileys haters gag but it’s also good mixed with ice cold milk. Makes it go further too ?

ninathenana Sun 12-Dec-21 16:28:16

I don't, too sickly for me

Baileys with a shot of whisky on ice!

Ailidh Sun 12-Dec-21 11:58:46

In any vessel you choose to give me. No ice.

In coffee and hot choc. A litre lasts me about four months. I’ve never had any go off.

Not at all. Dh likes it, though - just neat.

Should have said my friend makes a great Baileys Tiramisu.

Mine never goes off can finish a bottle in a week. Usually have it neat, over ice or added to black coffee. Will definitely try with Xmas pudding that sounds a great idea.

My bottle once opened will only last a few days so I don’t worry about it going off. Drink mine when in Asia in a wine glass with ice, now at home in the winter I drink it neat, in coffee or even in my Horlicks

Where I come from...... we pour the Bailey's on ice then a Hennessy brandy shamrock relax and swirl around every now & then.

???

MayBeMaw Sat 11-Dec-21 21:45:56

From a mug so that if the vicar drops in I can pretend it’s cold coffee. ???

lemongrove Sat 11-Dec-21 21:02:17

We keep it in a cold pantry. No ice, and drink it in a sherry glass, otherwise we would get through it in a few nights.
Do this with advocaat too.

^Bailey's doesn't need to go in the fridge and will be fine for 2 years from the date on the bottle.^

Pittcity Is that if it hasn't been opened?

Even when opened.
Store between 0° and 25° is the storage instruction on the bottle.
It'll separate if it's gone off. We can easily polish off a bottle here so it's never come to that!

This was in the OP. No one has commented, and we are on page 3.

Does it matter?

Not really!

grin

Not when you've had a few glasses
?

Bailey's doesn't need to go in the fridge and will be fine for 2 years from the date on the bottle. The alcohol is a preservative. Don't throw it away, cook with it if you won't drink it.

Oh dear!!

All that icecream consumed without Baileys!

My children have led me astray on the Baileys front - thankfully
