How awful. That’s terrible for her. My car wouldn’t start this week and the RAC man arrived within an hour. I guess it depends where you are.

All shocking stories. I thought lone women were a priority.

How long have you got ?
They sent wrong sort of truck. Driver organised different vehicle. No sign after 3 hrs. Phoned again they couldn't find her car. It was stopped on a long straight B road with hazards going. ? Original driver was passing stopped gave office a telling off and kindly brought DD here. Leaving her car with keys on the tyre. For the car to be recovered to mine. Another couple of hrs she calls them again once again the say could 't find you. Takes my car to go to her's Another call and 2 hr wait.
They have just turned up.
You did ask ??

My son’s girlfriend was on her own for 10 hours on a Cotswold country road in the summer awaiting recovery.

My granddaughter (18k broke down in an area that’s not the best at 5 pm she was in tears on her own still at 11pm after numerous phone calls to them and being told someone would be with her shortly her mum by then had gone to be with her and luckily eventually a friend offered to tow her to a garage needless to say she cancelled her RAC cover the next day

You are going to need to tell us what went wrong with recovery

DD phoned car break down at 10.00am this morning. A lot has happened since then regarding the recovery. Complicated story but suffice to say her dad and her are standing next to her car still waiting for her car to be recovered.
It's now 8.40 pm
