Suns out here. Such a treat.
We’re back from a truly wonderful Christmas Day with our eldest. He would have been alone otherwise, is picking up his daughters in an hour then coming here for a while before heading home with them. We had a delicious meal in the village pub, couldn’t fault it, such a happy, friendly atmosphere with superbly cooked food. All lateral flowed before we went and again today. Its been a horrid year for him. A divorce finalised after several years of pressure, the tortuous process to close down his workplace is coming to the end. He’s a toughie but it’s noticeably taken it’s toll on him.
Our other son had a positive lateral flow this morning, attended for a PCR an hour ago. He works in retail, in a busy store all last week. Fingers are crossed for him and his family. He’s got cold symptoms, could well be covid, time will tell.
Pleased to read about everyone’s Christmas, for better or worse. It can be a time of extremes I always think, sad for many while joyous for others with many folk in the middle.
Take care everyone. TOYA.
