Hello! Just popping in to Soop's Sanctuary to send my warmest best wishes to you all.
I have left some plates of refined sandwiches in the fridge, covered with foil, in the fridge for tea time nibbles.
Ham, egg and smoked salmon and cucumber. Enjoy x

Merry Christmas, to all in the kitchen!

Glad to hear you’re feeling better Jax and I hope you’ll be feeling better soon Urms.

It’s already Christmas in New Zealand and we enjoyed a zoom call this evening with our daughter and her family out there, and also with our two sons and their families who live in England. Tomorrow we will join them and one set of parents in law at son number two’s house for our Christmas celebrations, after we’ve visited mum in her care home. The boys wanted us to take her with us, especially after last Christmas when none of us were together, but mum isn’t well enough, nor mobile enough now to take her out all day safely.

Have a lovely day tomorrow one and all.
Merry Christmas everyone.

Wishing soop and all Kitchen friends a very happy and peaceful Christmas Day I hope you all find some magic moments as it will surely rush past. Good times always do.
Urms get well soon ?

Urms I agree with Marydoll that it is the Metronidazole that may be causing the problems. I hope you feel better tomorrow.

Hello from my daughter’s flat. Although I think someone has stolen my dd and replaced her with this paragon of virtue whose abode is immaculately tidy and now knows how to turn off light switches and appliances that are not being used! shock grin

It’s low key with three of us and her just off a set of hospital night shifts. We’ve had a lovely cheese board for dinner, snacks are available and Love Actually is going to be on her tv soon. Then presents put out for the morning and we’ll go to bed to await Santa. ?

Urms, I hope you feel better soon. flowers. Muse I’m glad you got through the scan ok and hope the result is extremely boring and uninteresting. ?

Thinking of you all and wishing you a peaceful Christmas Day, whatever you’re doing. ???

Dd and GC’s here watching A child called Christmas (courtesy of a good GN friend). One child fed eggy bread on his tech upstairs, duck crisping in oven for three, sushi for Imogen.
So good to see you here panache ?
I’m sorry you’re still feeling basically crap Urms, I’m not sure, but possibly raging toothache would’ve been worse, I really hope you improve rapidly x

I think it is side effects from the Flagyl. Marydoll. I’m going to have something to eat.
6 tablets left. 1 tonight. 3 tomorrow. 2 Sunday.
I felt better yesterday!
Strange.

Marydoll Fri 24-Dec-21 17:34:59

Urms are you sure it's not the metronizadole?. That's what felt like after having only two doses. Had to stop immediately after an emergency GP call out.
