Good Morning everyone from a still dark, 8deg. south coast. It's calm and dry which is good as we have our meet-up for lunch with DS and family today. Just done my first ever LFT and waiting the required 30 minutes to get (I hope) a negative result. Will administer DH's when he gets up.

Everything seems fraught again in the news and media and it can cast a real dampener on the run up to Christmas if we let it. I am trying to be a Pollyanna though and hopefully we will manage to enjoy some happy times come what may.

Have the best day you can everyone. sunshine

It's negative!

Good morning Mick, morning all from South Lanarkshire. It’s black as paint out there so I’ve no idea what the weather is doing.

That must have been tiring Mick.

Tea duty after Mass today then DD and family are coming over. Sunday dinner with them is a rare treat as normally at least one child will have some activity or party to attend so I’m looking forward to it.

Wishing everyone a peaceful Sunday. Special thoughts to those who have sadness, illness, or worries to bear.

Good morning Mike, that sounds like a long day for you yesterday, hopefully it wasn’t too chilly for you waiting for your friend.
Another easy day today, I might clean the cutlery this morning as it looks a bit of an odd colour, when I say cutlery, I mean the forks everything else looks fine.
Last Sunday I cleaned some silver candlesticks, it took me ages and I wish I hadn’t started it, but they will look good until after Christmas when they will be packed away until next December.

Hope all who follow have a good day and hugs for those who aren’t so chipper today. 6 more sleeps!

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark , but its dry here in brackley this morning.
Yesterday had its dramas which threw plans slightly , I went via Buckingham on the bus , lucky a friend gave me a xmas card ,as I posted mine to her , the bus was held up by a concrete mixer blocking road , arrived at bus stop in Buckingham and caught mine , friend had to wait for next one , anyway got Bicester , sat around waiting for the bus ,and chatting to others locally , anyway a bus driver who drives a local bus along same route as brackley bus came up to mr ,and told me that the bus had broken down , an hour later the bus arrived the bus driver told me she text this driver to see if there were passengers waiting , the driver was familiar with me so told me about the breakdown .
Arrived home OK, went for a Chinese later and watched TV .
Today an easy day .
Take Care,
Mick
