I don’t use them but when reading them always say the dear part in my head which really irritates

Sometimes it takes me so long to remember what abbreviation to use that it is quicker just to type it in full! Depends how good your keyboard skills are, and whether you are using a laptop or fiddly Smartphone...

DH dear husband. (Darling, damn insert appropriate word)
SIL A bit dodgy, this one. Can mean sister in law or son in law (Presumably not dear)
AC Adult children.
DS Dear son.
DD dear daughter.
