Adorable pets Maybe and Hetty.
Should we join them and just snooze the day away?
My little one is doing similar, not just today, but every day.

Morning Maw and others posting here. I’m in the no get up and go camp. I’ve got a cold sore, headache, feel tired and sorry for myself. Just did a negative LFT and been living a careful life but that virus does seem able to sneak up on people.

I’ve invited the children (3 adults 4 children one dog) for NYD lunch and friends for tea after a long walk NYE. We haven’t seen some of the children/grandchildren because they were locked in with covid over Christmas. I veer between excitement and joy that I’ll see good friends nye and family nyd and just wanting to curl up with my dogs and a book

It’s gone on and in hasn’t it, and we aren’t out of the pandemic yet. Ok, let’s all sing ‘always look on the bright side of life’

Charleygirl5, they are lovely, sweet old girls. They get me up for breakfast and I have to go for walks, too, so very good for me.

(so, at first, no pictures seemed to appear - and now you have them twice - just proves I'm not really awake!)

I agree, I would even have set Alexa to get me out of bed earlier.

Hetty those animals are gorgeous.

???I think 13 people coming to lunch would have galvanised me into action - if only to hide the laundry!

It's just that time of year - always happens to me - roll on Spring!

Oh MayBeMaw I think my get uo and go is hiding with yours.

I am laying in bed, scrolling GN when I should be in the kitchen preparing dinner for 13 family members coming for a late twixmas lunch.

Wanted:
Missing, get-up-and-go
If anybody has it can they please send me some?
Is it the dull, damp morning? Too much food over Christmas?
“End of a cr*p year” syndrome?
Whatever, I am finding it hard to stay vertical, can feel no motivation whatsoever for the (few) tasks I had hoped to achieve before the end of the year, and just want to curl up and hibernate.
