Betty White RIP

Loved the Golden girls. Not a swear word mentioned but so funny.

Oh how sad! I really thought she would manage 100. Such a lovely person with a wicked sense of humour.

Until I watched the Golden Girls it had never occurred to me to eat ice cream from the tub - and the whole tub too.

As a tribute to Betty I will now see what I have in the fridge - hopefully Co Op Venezuelan chocolate

Oh I see she would have been 100 in January, same with prince Philip shame he didn’t make it, would have been nice to have some celebrations in these Covid times!

Grandmabatty thanks I never watched that so she’s not on my radar
She lived to a good age so not really sad should be celebrated

RIP Betty. She seemed full of fun. Piers Morgan asked her what she had always wanted to do in show business but hadn't done. She replied 'Robert Redford'.

What a horrible year

It's more horrible if you have lost someone dear, especially if they were far too young.

She was 99 - a shame she didn't make 100.
However, it is sad but not devastating.

We went to a funeral yesterday - an old friend aged 88 so it was sad, a blessed release, but a joyful remembrance of his life, too.

RIP Betty - truly one of life's Golden Girls. What a shame she didn't get to have her big birthday bash though.

Bluebelle she was a star in 'The Golden Girls'. A really lovely person.

RIP lovely lady.
My American DIL was only saying at Christmas that Betty was the USA's national treasure.
