Prince Andrew Can't Sweat

Doing wrong is not black and white even in law.

My own father who of course had never heard of Prince Andrew, could not sweat. My mother , who had never heard of Prince Andrew, told me this when I was was girl . My mother did not explain about the adrenaline thing as she had no medical knowledge, but after Andrew's admission about not sweating . I can understand how hormones are affected by some severe life events. My father was at the Eastern Front during the Great War.

Also in support of Prince Andrew, he probably did not even know that it was illegal or even immoral to shag an unknown and poor seventeen year old girl. Very rich people have odd childhoods, and it takes special efforts by parents and teachers to teach them what real life is.

They closed our pizza express, I never went to it

paddyann54 Tue 04-Jan-22 11:48:05

Maybe she did Annie maybe she thought at least a decent standard of livng would make up for what she went through ...and then maybe she decided that justice was the only way she could get closure.
I watched a documentary about boys abused over 60 years ago, these now elderly men were in tears and told about the effect the abuse had on their entire lives.

The fact that the chief abuser was being put behind bars gave them some closure ,its NOT about money in most cases .Its not about Andrew Windsor either ,he's the most prominent name so if they get a result with his case they can round up the rest like the animals they are .Rightly so ,I'm sure if it had been one of your children abused by these "men" you'd want justice ...or would you say but she was smiling in the photo because he's a "prince"?

Anniebach Tue 04-Jan-22 11:54:42

paddyanne yes I think she was smiling because she had met a royal and explains why she kept the photograph.

JaneJudge Tue 04-Jan-22 11:55:12

paddyann, did you ever watch that Neil Morrisey documentary? about the children's care homes and the abuse at one his late brother had lived at? there were lots of very high profile men involved in that too iirc

MissAdventure Tue 04-Jan-22 12:28:00

I think I watched the same programme as paddy saw.
It was so, so, sad to see what far reaching effects being the "chosen" boys had on those men.

I don't know that VG is a multi-millionairess but she has certainly made a great deal of money from her involvement with Epstein; however, the legal bills will be colossal, and her lawyers will be quite happy to relieve her of her fortune.
Isn't it said in particularly litigious cases that the only people who win are the lawyers?

Anniebach Tue 04-Jan-22 12:47:26

An American lawyer who acts for abused girls said on tv this morning that Giuffrie has millions so isn’t doing it for the money

Calistemon Tue 04-Jan-22 13:26:04

Some people won't ever get it, paddyann, sadly.

I remember that film Oranges and Sunshine where children were sent to Australia and subsequently abused.

Everyone keeps receipts from Pizza Express

Everyone who worked at a Pizza Express when a member of the RF had a family birthsay party can remember it.

Anniebach Tue 04-Jan-22 13:36:10

No member of the royal family had a birthday party at Pizza
Express.

eazybee Tue 04-Jan-22 13:39:41

The staff at Pizza Express wouldn't remember Prince Andrew being there because he wasn't ; he dropped Beatrice off and returned home to wait for her.

MissAdventure Tue 04-Jan-22 13:42:34

So, accessing his medical records seems the best bet.
The ones that prove he doesn't sweat.

Petera Tue 04-Jan-22 14:57:41

I strike the words 'had a family birthday', and replace them with 'took Princess Beatrice to a' which of course really makes all the difference...

If you, or anyone else, are so convinced of his innocence then what's the problem with asking the staff at Pizza Express/looking at medical records etc.

If you are willing to take his statements on face value then I assume you will extend the same courtesy to VG.

Really Anniebach, you should stop digging while we can still see the top of your head.

Anniebach Tue 04-Jan-22 15:19:55

Really Petera you should stop making personal attacks and keep to the subject being discussed and do tell where I have said I believe Andrew, when you have read all my posts do admit I never have and stop posting falsehoods , thank you

Germanshepherdsmum Tue 04-Jan-22 15:32:20

I don’t recall Annie ever saying that PA is innocent. She has said she thought that PA was lying in the tv interview and also that she believes VG has lied. She has also said, quite rightly, that everyone is presumed innocent until proved guilty, a basic tenet of our law. I’m in complete agreement with her.

Summerlove Tue 04-Jan-22 15:47:21

It’s clear that VG was sexually active from at least age 13 and there’s no evidence that she was groomed to get into the relationships she had with the men she lived with. She was, as she was living with someone at the time, very sexually aware when she met Maxwell. This may go some way towards explaining why the prosecution decided she would not be a reliable witness.

Some good old fashioned slut shaming then?

Germanshepherdsmum Tue 04-Jan-22 15:54:06

Statement of fact.

Anniebach Tue 04-Jan-22 15:55:49

GSM posted the truth and I very much doubt the boy she was living with when she was with Epstein had groomed her.

Anniebach Tue 04-Jan-22 15:57:08

It’s so wrong to refer to Giuffrie as a slut.

Lucca Tue 04-Jan-22 15:59:45

Anniebach

It’s so wrong to refer to Giuffrie as a slut.

That’s not what Summerlove is doing. But I think you know that.

MissAdventure Tue 04-Jan-22 16:00:49

So wrong to say it when it can be insinuated in every post.

Summerlove Tue 04-Jan-22 16:02:11

Anniebach

It’s so wrong to refer to Giuffrie as a slut.

I didn’t. Talking about how she was promiscuous when she was younger, is certainly shaming her.

I’m wondering however, why you refuse to spell her name properly.

Seems like when you dislike a woman you choose to spell their name wrong as a way to show your disdain.

Germanshepherdsmum Tue 04-Jan-22 16:10:42

I f you take the trouble to study the final paragraph of the post you’ve quoted Summerlove perhaps you will understand the point I was making, which was about her part (or lack of) in the Maxwell case.
And if you’re going to be so unpleasant as to pick Annie up on the spelling of VG’s difficult surname then I will pick you up on your use of ‘wrong’ instead of ‘wrongly’, which I would otherwise have ignored. Basic English.

Anniebach Tue 04-Jan-22 16:12:20

You used the word slut. I assume you read the Megan and Harry threads .

Lucca Tue 04-Jan-22 16:28:33

I rest your case Summerlove !
