Prince Andrew Can't Sweat

Doing wrong is not black and white even in law.

My own father who of course had never heard of Prince Andrew, could not sweat. My mother , who had never heard of Prince Andrew, told me this when I was was girl . My mother did not explain about the adrenaline thing as she had no medical knowledge, but after Andrew's admission about not sweating . I can understand how hormones are affected by some severe life events. My father was at the Eastern Front during the Great War.

Also in support of Prince Andrew, he probably did not even know that it was illegal or even immoral to shag an unknown and poor seventeen year old girl. Very rich people have odd childhoods, and it takes special efforts by parents and teachers to teach them what real life is.

Anniebach, bullying is evil as I think you'd agree.

For a rich man to use a poor girl for sex is to bully that girl, who has no rich friends to defend her.

For any man to pay some poor, trafiicked woman in a cheap brothel for sex is also bullying behaviour because she has no means of defending herself.

Anniebach Sun 16-Jan-22 19:03:54

Are there trafficked women in this country working in brothels ?

Did Epstein run brothels ?

Many men who are not wealthy visit prostitutes

trisher Sun 16-Jan-22 19:55:14

There was aprogramme on TV some time ago about a trafficking gang working in Ireland. They seemed to rent quite ordinary houses and use them as brothels, if they were challenged they closed down and moved. I seem to remember the girls were moved backwards and forwards across the border from N.Ireland to Eire as well.

trisher Sun 16-Jan-22 19:56:29

I think rich men prefer not to call them brothels and just pretend that the girls really like them. Like PA

Anniebach Sun 16-Jan-22 19:59:41

Pointless trying to discuss brothels, prostitution on this thread

There are countless numbers of Trafficked women and men in the UK .I was fortunate to be see the information at a Police Scotland conference on trafficking here .Trafficked people can be found even on small islands off the Scottish coast and its not unusual .
One they are here they are used for all purposes not just as sex workers but often as cheap labour in sweatshops though many of the women are primarily brought as sex workers.
Dont doubt for one minute that its happening near you ,they can be hidden in plain sight just as easily as in large cities .
Promised a great life by the traffickers and scared to do anything to get away as they are threatened what will happen to them if they do .The women in the case involving Andrew may not have been ill treated ,simply because damaged goods aren't attractive but it doesn't mean they weren't threatened in other ways .Smiling for cameras doesn't mean they were having fun!

Yes there are trafficked girls, boys, men and women being used as sex slaves. Also as paddyann says, being exploited in other ways. Our town had car cleaning places shut down because men trafficked from Africa were enslaved there
The wealthy men who made use of the scantily dressed girls, very young women on Epstein’s island and in other establishments were either stupid, deliberately ignorant or with an inflated idea of their own entitlement that led them to believe it was like an all you can eat buffet

It may not be illegal to have sex at 17 here BUT it certainly is ILLEGAL to traffic people for sex regardless of their age.I wonder where he thought these young Americans were appearing from at his bedroom door ....
Of course his type expect everything on tap so women would be no dfferent even very young women. Please stop defending this excuse for a man.I doubt any of you would be pleased if your husbnds behaved this way or your daughters used this way .

Not to forget that he tried to get an alibi by saying he was taking his own daughter to a party at the time!!
Good for her standing up and saying she couldn't remember that!

Anniebach Mon 17-Jan-22 11:02:45

‘Those young Americans’ will you post a link where we can read the names of ‘those young Americans appearing from his bedroom door PaddyAnne ?

Germanshepherdsmum Mon 17-Jan-22 14:30:05

It seems as though VG has somehow multiplied. She’s the only one to have been mentioned.

Anniebach Mon 17-Jan-22 15:16:57

Paddyann will I am sure provide a link , she really is so good with providing links.

Germanshepherdsmum Mon 17-Jan-22 15:29:54

Ah yes Annie. Silly me, I forgot to ask.

Grany Tue 18-Jan-22 09:31:21

There are TWO witnesses that saw PA with VG layers want to get hold of

PA might have to say in court if the queen knew and what was her advice to him.

Staff must have seen Maxwell who was always there at palace coming in and out and Epstein was there. There is a programme on ITV tonight Andrew Maxwell and Epstein

Andrew a grown man had a tantrum if staff didn't put his teddies in order You only hear about Meghan bullying staff but that is debatable

Anniebach Tue 18-Jan-22 09:38:02

Did you find the link naming the young Americans at his door
grany

Andrew can’t be asked about the Queen unless she is called to give evidence,

Elegran Tue 18-Jan-22 10:06:49

Surely Andrew saying what someone else advised him to do would be hearsay and not admissable as evidence, and he is an independent grown man who makes his own decisions. The trial is about what he said and did.

If someone wants to accuse the Queen in court of saying or doing something illegal, they have to try her directly, not as a sideline to a civil case against Andrew - though we all know that Grany would have her in chains in the dock and a guillotine standing outside ready for the pre-determined verdict and sentence.

Germanshepherdsmum Tue 18-Jan-22 10:24:37

Whether the Queen knew and what advice she might have given him are totally irrelevant to the case.

Iam64 Tue 18-Jan-22 10:56:42

For pity’s sake - the Queen has nothing to do with Andrew and the civil case, other than as the mother of an adolescent 60 year old

Well Epstein and Maxwell did attend Royal events, did a shoot at Sandringham and were at Beatrice's 18th with -Harvey Weinstein!
Perhaps HM should have told PA to stay away from bad people after Epstein was convicted. He obviously has no judgement himself.

Mollygo Tue 18-Jan-22 12:40:48

trisher, Would you agree that your mother should be held responsible for every nasty word or dubious deed you’ve ever said or done? Did you always take notice of what your mother said?
I don’t get why Andrew’s mother is being dragged into this discussion.

Grany Tue 18-Jan-22 12:52:37

What's interesting in this article, is the suggestion that if Andrew has to testify, he may be asked what the Queen knew and advised him to do.

www.washingtonpost.com/world/2022/01/15/prince-andrew-titles-lawsuit/?tid=ss_tw

The palace knew the comings and goings of Maxwell and Epstein

Anniebach Tue 18-Jan-22 13:17:22

So mothers should check on all their children’s friends even when they are 40+ , trisher ?

grany still no link naming the girls at Andrew’s bedroom door ?

trisher Tue 18-Jan-22 13:17:44

No but I'm absolutely certain that if my mum had found out someone I had brought to events in her home had been convicted of child abuse she would have told me in no uncertain words that I shouldn't be involved with them asked if I had known about them and told me to cut them out of my life. She would also have told me to tell the police anything I knew which might help.

Callistemon21 Tue 18-Jan-22 13:19:02

The palace knew the comings and goings of Maxwell and Epstein

And?

No-one knew they were grooming and procuring children - they would have seemed a normal couple.

Anniebach Tue 18-Jan-22 13:21:59

Andrew hasn’t lived in Buck house since 2004.

Iam64 Tue 18-Jan-22 13:47:32

I’ve no problem with Andrew being held to account for the people he mixes with, or invites to Sandringham. His responsibility.
It may be that the Queen dig advise him In the way your mother would have trisher. I can’t see any evidence that Andrew has either the intelligence or the integrity to follow advice from anyone
