Good morning everyone from a wet and windy Northampton; hoping it clears up as I would like to join my health walk this afternoon. I need to get out and get back to some semblance of normality. Will be doing a LFT first. I managed to order another box yesterday from the government website.
Phone call from DS yesterday to ask whether I had his birth certificate; thought we had handed it over years ago, but no, there it was, along with other important documents in DH's old briefcase. Up to now DGDs have always had Swedish passports (Dil is Swedish), but to renew them they have to go to the Swedish Embassy in London, and it is getting a bit of a faff, so they have decided to get British passports for the girls. DS was here within half an hour to collect it, as Dil had started the online application process and they needed to scan DS's birth certificate in.
Didn't do a lot yesterday apart from start a new book, a real-life spy story which I know I will enjoy, having seen a tv documentary about it last year.
Must stir myself and get showered and dressed or I shall be behind myself all morning.
Welcome to our new posters, and everyone have the best day they can.
How do you hang your washing out?
What do you find yourself avoiding more as you get older?

-----notice I said " hope ".
