Who was that under the mask ?

Nell8 you dropped your glasses......I poked my finger in my eye when putting my mask on. It was fairly painful but I had no lasting damage thank goodness.

If you Google 'how to stop mask steaming up glasses' there are loads of websites with advice.

I feel so sorry for people who have to wear masks all day at work. It must be so awful. ?

rosie1959 I don't just go deaf. My rational thought processes seem to grind to a halt too. I have to be very careful handling my credit card in shops. I think it's a mild form of panic induced by feeling smothered!
I have to be extra careful when I take my mask off since the time my lightweight specs went flying. Tiny chips on both lenses meant a huge replacement bill
Ah well, mustn't grumble..

I'm afraid that if your glasses are steaming up then you're not wearing your mask correctly, or it's not an effective one. If you had covid you'd be spreading virus particles everywhere.

A mask with nose wire that you can mould round your nose to make a seal stops your glasses steaming up because no damp breath can escape upwards.

You can buy No Fog glasses wipes that stop your glasses steaming up - if you remember to use the flipping things.

Yes they do work quite well as long as you remember to use them
I also struggle with masks I hate anything on my face love the sense of relief when you pull them off on leaving indoor situations
For some reason they seem to make me deaf and I have trouble catching what someone is saying to me
Oh well hopefully they won't last too long

I used to find my glasses steamed up until I tried a silk mask with nose wire. No more steaming up.

I firmly believe that the wearing of masks is a sensible and positive thing to do but, my goodness I still struggle with them while shopping; getting all hot and bothered with glasses steamed up and not able to read the labels. I remember stopping outside the Bank to put on my mask before going in; I felt more like Bonnie Parker rather than Bonneygran! Lol.

True Lucca the only plus I have found with masks is I can nip out without my false plate in if it is giving me jip

It can be quite useful to have on glasses a hat and mask if you happen to want to avoid being recognised …
