Good Morning Everyone,
Its a dark, and a wet morning here in brackley this morning.
Todays plans are to go via Buckingham to Bicester and return direct .
I will have a breakfast bap in the bakery cafe I use in Bicester plus a coffee ,and then a small shop.
Later I will have my usual Saturday Chinese , mind you I wanted my regular Fish & Chip shop take away yesterday , but it was closed due to a family member having Covid .
Take Care,
Mick

So sorry to read your sad news GS but know that you’ll find comfort that he is finally at rest. Hope you and your family have a quiet and peaceful weekend ?

Good morning all from Glasgow where the snow has completely cleared and we are back to wet and dreich. Thankfully really as underfoot slush was freezing making it dangerously slippery.

Lovely to see a pic of the adorable Daft Dug Baubles she is a beauty. Pleased to hear you took my advice, good to know someone actually listens to me.? Just a bit more, don’t push yourself until you feel fully recovered, it really isn’t worth it.
Your journey sounds like a nightmare Marydoll, we also mentioned lack of gritters! Sorry to hear the news you were given wasn’t more positive. Steroid injections are a god send for pain relief. (((((Hugs)))))
Please accept my sincere condolences GrannySomerset. A relief for your DH who is now at rest but heart wrenching for you to come to terms with. Wishing you strength to help you through the days ahead. ?

A FaceTime call with DD2 in Australia to look forward to later. I think she may need some cheering up as this will be the third year she is unable to come home for a long annual visit unless travel rules change and its getting to her. So grateful technology allows us to stay in contact so easily at least.

Have a good day everyone whatever your plans are. Kind thoughts to those not faring well at all, coping with worries in your life at present. ?

Good morning from a wet and dark South Yorkshire. Sadness here today as well matching the weather. 2 years today since DD's birth mother passed away suddenly... so much emotional baggage attached to this ?
Glad you had such a through consultation yesterday Marydoll even though the news wasn't great at least someone has finally had a good look at you. I hope the steroids work.
Sincere condolences Grannysomerset sending you love and hugs ?
Loving thoughts to all those with sadness today ? xxx

Good morning Mick and everybody. At the moment it’s raining heavily in my corner of Lancashire, currently 8°C. Not much planned for today, there are a few hardy souls out there walking, but I won’t be joining them. The rain makes it slippery underfoot and I daren’t risk falling. The usual physio exercises and some cycling (indoors) later.

So sorry for your loss GrannySomerset, thinking of you flowers

Wishing you all the best possible day. May all those with worries find some comfort and all who are under the weather find some relief. ?

Good Morning All x.
Dull and damp but nowhere near as cold as it has been.
At the moment I'm a bit concerned for the old Tom cat who lives ( snugly ) outside in his kennel, as up to now he hasn't stirred.
I know he's very old but I've been so used to seeing his face at the window waiting for his breakfast. I've only peeked inside the kennel and he looks to be " curled up asleep ".

I'll give it a bit more time and if he's still in the same position I'll feel his body. Not sure what to do if he's " gone ". I knew the day would come sometime because of his age but it'll still be upsetting. I'll miss his character.

Flippin' 'eck, he's just appeared, little tinker, when I've got tears ! He's just having a lie-in---well I never. Foxing me grin
Goodness me, enough of that.

Glad to hear that Urms arrived safely and is already " feeling at home ", good for you. You next for " home " Pantglas, holidays are soon over sad

Just some tidying to do and a leg of lamb to come out of the freezer---to keep me going, seems a while since I had lamb for Sunday dinner so that'll go down nicely.
I could do with doing some washing as well but maybe that can wait until Monday.

Not the best of days for Marydoll yesterday, as if it wasn't enough that your health isn't good but also the travelling too. I'm sure you were glad to get back home.

Quite a few of you with concerns either for yourselves or family members so I hope you can find some comfort to ease the worries. This is always the worse time of the year at the best of times. The news doesn't help either.

On the Wirral here we're in for a bumpy ride for this year with many facilities closing because of a financial shortfall. Cuts of £27m says it all---libraries, toilets, golf courses etc etc., what a mess for a seaside town which relies on visitors. No wonder places go to rack and ruin.

Gosh, I started writing this 2 hours or so ago ! Between breakfast and the news-------that's how disorganised I am.
Anyway, before it's lunchtime I'll leave you with thoughts to those are struggling and love to all. Stay safe xx.

Please accept my sincere condolences GrannySomerset on the death of your very dear husband. Yes, it’s a release from suffering but for that you have to pay the ultimate price.
