Good morning from south Cornwall where it's very wet and windy. Our allotment coffee morning in our community cabin has been cancelled due to the weather. It's the first time we're trying to push on through the winter with it; we usually run it March to December. I'll pop across to Wetherspoons for breakfast, then to the Art School shop to look at the price of their largest canvasses. Have the best day you can.

Good morning from a wet and windy Torbay.

A poor night's sleep doesn’t help the day but is understandable in the case of your DH, grandMattie. Difficult for you both and these dreary days aren’t helpful.

Yesterday, I was asked by our theatre committee to support our Treasurer as we informed a long serving employee that her services were no longer required, due to financial constraints. Both he and I lost sleep over this matter but she accepted the decision with admirable dignity. I felt wretched on her behalf but Covid closures have affected our income with audience numbers remaining lower than normal for the two plays that have gone ahead recently.

Only two attendees turned up for our Memory Café in the afternoon; people are nervous about being around others. Our team of six helpers made the best of it and we all enjoyed the entertainment provided - a skiffle group and a short talk about Joyce Grenfell.

Thoughts with those with worries of any kind. Take care. ?????

Good morning from dark Leicestershire.

Popping into town this morning to take back a pair of slippers to Next. It is the 6th pair of slippers I have sent back since Christmas. I am sure they are making them narrower!

We also need to go to Boots as their audiologists central booking system is rubbish and you cannot contact the store.

We might dare to have a coffee while we are there.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all from a wet S Hants, I was rudely awoken by a message from a friend on holiday in Malta, who seems to have forgotten the time difference, at 6:40 he got a short response. We had a lovely Indian takeaway delivered last night, enough left for brunch later.
MrJ will get the paper when he surfaces, we have rain forecast of and on all day, so no real plans.
I hope Urms had a trouble free trip.
Thoughts with GrannySomerset.
Enjoy your day all, watch for a ? or ??.

Good Morning all from a cold, dark and wet Severnside. It’s likely to be miserable all day so the news of sunshine will be very welcome from Pant and Urms.

I’ve some jobs to catch up on so it’ll be a day of pottering.

My thoughts to all with sorrow ?
?☔️

Good morning from a dark Oxfordshire, if I have a look at the weather I’ll wake up MissOops dog, so I’ll stay in bed for a while.
Soup making today, enough for all of us so that MissOops and nephew won’t have to stop packing and cook, they can take it when they collect their dog.
Have a good day everyone, thinking of Grandmasomerset and all those with cares and worries.

Good morning to you all from wet Wiltshire.
Absolutely nothing other planned other than dog walks and getting on with sorting my craft room - 4 bin bags of yarn went to a new home yesterday so that’s a start!
Our local Facebook is great for getting rid of things.
I hope you all have a peaceful weekend.

Good morning from North Wales. Not quite as cold and pant is bringing some warmth back with her so I may thaw out ?
Will be meeting my DD and GCs later for her birthday lunch.
I hope Marydoll's appointment went well yesterday.
Thoughts with Grannysomerset.
Have a good day all and ? for all who are not well or have troubles.

Good morning from a dark, cold E Kent.
Another bad night. I don’t sleep well, but DH has taken it to other heights. He has aged so much since Philip died, and his sleep has really been affected. It is sad to see.
Not a lot going on today. I’ll probably make a chilli for tonight.
I hope Urms arrived ok and marydoll’s appointment went well. Hugs for grannySomerset and any other who needs comfort of any sort. Carpe diem. ????

Good Morning Mick and all to come from here in East Staffordshire where it looks rather wet out there.
I was awoken by a gentle knock on our bedroom door from DGS who greeted me with a smile and a hand when I opened the door, saying “Powwa” which is his word for porridge! Who can resist that at 6.00am❤️
We will now spend a few hours watching Peppa Pig be rude to her Daddy and Dogs saving the Mayor from danger? oh the joys of kids TV.
No plans today apart from cleaning Guineas out. I will do a LFT tomorrow as that is day 5 to see if I am negative for two days running. DD will do one today and tomorrow.and hopefully be able to get home to DH for the afternoon on Sunday before he heads back to work.
Hope you are ok Grannysomerset
Hope you arrived ok Urms
Take care everyone and stay safe and warm❤️

Good morning Mick and all who follow - that breakfast bap sounds tempting ? might rustle up a mollete with the last of the bacon for brunch - we’re trying to use everything in the fridge before returning to Blighty next week!

Miss Marydoll- our travel insurance is through bank account although we do pay extra for Mr PG and his conditions, which are numerous and ever changing......when I get his hip done, he manages to need t’other done, you get my drift! Good job he’s worth his weight as a handyman, or he’d have been put off hire long ago?

I’ll be bringing ? back with me AGA and hope not to need my vests - drafted things my mam made me wear when SHE felt cold ?, even in summer?

Be back later to read your mischiefs....
