Good morning, Mick and those who follow from calm, dark Torbay. Cold but not frosty.

Yesterday was a day of mixed fortunes. Out of the blue I had a migraine in the morning. The full works with dazzles, etc., which were a regular feature of my working life. I managed to recover enough to deliver a parcel dumped here by DPD late on Friday, despite it being correctly addressed to a different postcode! Sigh!

Later, I was out to fulfil my promise to do Front of House at our theatre - normally a straightforward task for the smaller number at a matinee - only to discover that the Box Office was unmanned. I spent about half an hour ringing other Box Office staff to no avail. Our tech savvy Bar Manager had already notified us of his need to isolate due to having Covid so nobody could operate the computerised ticket system!

Several folk wanted to buy tickets on the door but, unsurprisingly, didn’t have cash on them. Finally, our Stage Manager came to the rescue, as she was able to operate the system, despite not having done so for five years. Phew! It was a relief to sit in the auditorium for the play which went without a hitch, I’m pleased to say.

I hope brook2704 and Mr.brook are safely home in Inverness and all with worries or illness find some relief today. ?????

Morning Michael and all who follow. My heart is urging you to take the plunge and try the pub. I always enjoy testing new ownerships. They seem to try very hard at first. Enjoy your day, whatever. Cheers!

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark, but dry here in brackley this morning, a quiet day is planned .
I will have a mid morning coffee with biscuits ,and then a ready made lunch.
Mind you I tempted to eat out , as the weather improves as a local pub has reopened under new ownership and do meals .
Apart from usual TV .
Take care,
Mick
