Happy Birthday Llamas99. Enjoy your special day flowers

Good morning from south Cornwall where a cool breeze is wafting in over my bed and the crows are calling to each other. My six-year-old granddaughter explored a Victorian tip on the beach at Lyme Regis yesterday and she said, 'Nana would love this!' and sent a photo of her treasures. Looks like someone left an ear behind.

A friend is coming for coffee this morning and I'll pootle off to the sea front after that. Have a good day.

Good Morning all from the Scottish Borders where it is still 6°C.
It could have been me putting out the bins this am Oopsa I miss the collection if I leave it too late and if the night before, some dastardly passerby dumps their beer bottles in my paper recycle. The downside of living in the town centre between 2 pubs

I have a long list of jobs to be done today so I had better get on but drink my tea first.
I am glad you are almost repaired Mick
Those tiny shoes were left to amuse Urms
Have as best a day as you can especially those with struggles.

Good morning, one and all from a dry Torbay where it is six degrees and will go all the way to seven later!

A quiet day after church yesterday was most welcome, with my daily Zoom with DH late afternoon and a long call from a friend in the evening. Our daughters were friends from schooldays and are now 46/7 so we go back a long way! No more news of DD1 but thank you for the support, especially in relation to the migraine on Saturday.

Happy birthday, Llamas99 in Tennessee, mentioned in programmes here about Dolly Parton on Saturday, in honour of her birthday! ???

Wishing everyone as good a day as possible. ?????

Good morning everyone from a still dark Northampton; I believe a grey day is forecast. Am up early this morning as I may need to get the bus to yoga; my friend texted me yesterday that she had a cold and wasn't sure whether to go or not, but would let me know this morning after she'd done a LFT. If it's bus I will have to leave by 8.45. I need to get out of the house and have some company after a long day spent indoors yesterday.

Must get some more washing done when I get back. Attempted washing a couple of pillows yesterday which was a disaster as the machine refused to spin them, so I have two soaking wet pillows out in the back garden for want of somewhere to put them. Not trying again....

Hoping that today treats us kindly.

Good Morning from W Tennessee at 12:33AM. Cold here, then colder even at night to come! Today is my 76th.

No Matt today - it’s Monday.

Good morning everyone from Malaga where it’s dark. Himself is fast asleep. I’ve made a cuppa.

Took ages getting off to sleep last night. Anyway got to thinking I need to improve my health. Thought of a few lifestyle adjustments I could make that need to be sustainable. My upcoming classes for Diabetes Prevention once home are on my mind.

I think we will walk into Arroyo this morning. Have café sombra and pitufo con tomate at our favourite place then stroll about until the rotisserie chickens are available - usually about 1pm on la Calle Blas Infante - the wide pedestrianised walkway in the town centre. We think they’re the best - plus a media ratione of their garlic potatoes! That will do us nicely for dinner tonight. (Why am I planning this so early in the morning? ?). We will then sit and have a beer (Alhambra) and people watch for an hour at Cerveceria 100 Montaditos.

Only 2 more days left now.

This photo is cute. L’il Miss had put her slippers tidily to one side last night and mum spotted she’d put the doll’s alongside. I love the way small children's minds work don’t you?

Enjoy Monday all who can.

Good Morning Mick, Mattie and all who follow from a 4.8c south coast. Still and calm but dark but I expect it will be a thick cloud cover again.

Today we need to sort some admin out but not much else. My aching joints are a bit less troublesome this morning so may feel less grumpy!

Hope the day is a good one for us all. sunshine

Good Morning Mick and all who follow, still very dark here in Oxfordshire, I was woken at 5.30 by next door putting their bins out (grrrrrr). So here we are.
Usual housework and laundry day today.
Have a good day everyone and hugs for those who aren’t feeling so chipper.

Good morning from a dark, chilly E Kent.
Sounds like the dressing on your ear is no longer troubling you, Mick.
Been awake for several hours after a good, uninterrupted five hours sleep.
On my way back from the dentist, I’ll get more Seville oranges ? as I don’t think I have enough to give away over the year. I saw on my statement that I have been going to the dentist since the first week of November. The poor woman has been trying and , I think, finally successfully sorted my background aches.
I hope all those with problems have a gentle day. Catch a flamingo ? or two! Carpe diem. ☀️☀️????
