Always thought a fruit was whatever was produced after a plant had flowered and was produced above ground. At least that's what I was taught in good old botany at school.

A false claim. Ancestry found that "Jane was a second cousin to Isabel Hildyard, Meghan’s 12th great-grandmother" But being descended from Jane Seymour's second cousin is nowhere near the same as being descended from Jane Seymour.

For that, MM would need to have a direct line back to Edward VI, the son of King Henry VIII by Jane. Edward died on 6 July 1553 aged 15 with no children.

I believe it says she is linked to them, her 12th great grandmother was 2nd cousin to Jane Semour, Henry and Jane had one son, Edward who produced no heirs before he died so he has no descendants. But even so she has tried to break links with Royalty.

The article in the quote says "Meghan Markle is a descendant of both King Edward III, and King Henry VIII’s third wife Jane Seymour, according to genealogists." Not very good genealogists if they do say exactly that, or not a very good reporter if they misquoted the genealogists.

I looked up the lingering after a funeral - and it is true! I also found out that putting a stamp on a letter upside down is an act of treason. I accidentally did this last week. Anxiously awaiting my arrest!
