2nd line there are 4 green. How did I do that?

Fanny I never was any good at math in any way but I can do Nerdle. Have another go. In my first line I use both the * and / symbol and if they both come back black then I know they don’t feature in the answer so I can just use the plus and minus symbols. Have a go at the mini Nerdle first. I had a couple of goes at that before I tackled the 8 square one. I have managed to do the last three days 8 square one and I am someone who counts on my fingers. So if I can do it, anyone can.

It won't accept it because / means divide, so your calculation would be: (19-9)÷9=5, as the answer is a decimal and incorrect, Nerdle won't accept it.

Perhaps the Bodmas rule would help you.

I am having problems playing the 8 Nerdle. This is not a spoiler, just me messing about but I don’t understand I am hopeless at maths.
It won’t accept this calculation 19-9/2=5

I have done the mini one today again and did it two, maybe I should be braver and go for the bigger 8.

The thing I like about Nerdle is that you actually don’t have to be any good at maths at all, because I am hopeless.
