I'd seen people complaining that it wasn't a real word which gave me a clue but I'd heard of it!

tanith I read an article in the papers about it but it was yesterday’s word. Are you sure you know today’s. You could try it to see.

I'm starting to get a bit fed up with it now.

I’m just mad??? I’d had two goes and got 2 right and one in the wrong place gave it a break so I started reading some news and stupidly saw an item about Wordly clicked the page and it was people complaining about today’s word and of course they named the word and I’d read it before I could stop myself it just jumped right off the page to me. How bloody annoying.

I bet today’s has caused some head scratching!

Took me five as well, had to use the fourth guess to eliminate some letters. Took me some time though. Pretty rewarding to hit it, once I saw the letters available in guess five it came pretty quickly. Still felt like a fluke.

3 surprisingly. I feel pleased.

Sorry, I am talking about WordWipe, which I also play. You have to eliminate words in a word-search-type grid as fast as possible. (my best score so far is 11093 points ) On that various esoteric words are OK, but those Anglo-Saxon words s**t, a**e, c**t, and f**k would be possible surprisingly often, but don't vanish when selected. I suspect they are booby-traps to waste your time.

MayBeMaw Some perfectly good British words are not accepted, and it wasn't just four-lettered Anglo-Saxon ones.
