I couldn't do it today.
I'm convinced there are no words left.

DH did that yesterday. Going through the few options left for his last letter again and again, and he kept saying the right word, pronouncing it in different ways! Sometimes if you say a word often enough, it just sounds wrong.

Does bad language count? I’ve found myself proficient in recent days when I’m still struggling to solve it by line 5.

It took five attempts today so no swearing!

Cherrytree59 yes, one of my adult DC is. English and two European languages before breakfast I believe.

There is a version in Scots Gaelic, which I am learning but I've no hope of doing a Gaelic Wordle.

Whoohoo for my result in english today, though!

Both yesterday and today I got the German and French Wordles in 3 and the English one took 5 attempts. It can be a disadvantage knowing a lot of words that might just fit, as you can easily choose the wrong ones.

I must admit, I’d never even heard of today’s French word!

SIL is just as bad. They are so competitive.

Monday 7th February Got it in five.
I made a slip when I pressed enter too quickly on line 4, leaving out a positive letter. Argh ?.

Latin Wordle, Marydoll? Respect! My Latin just about runs to puella lacrimat, which I remember chanting in our first lesson. Neither of those words has five letters, so I’d be done for.
