Delete a Post

Are you asking a question or telling us? You could email GNHQ and ask them to delete it. Didn’t you post this about a month ago?

I tried to Delete a Post. Then I found this info. Thought I would share it. I find Gransnet not User Friendly. I also keep seeing the same Members here. I thought this Site would be more Diverse. There's lots of Complaining & Unhappy people.

How do I Remove my Membership here? Again it's hard to find. This Site is not User Friendly. Do you have to Request to be Removed?

Why don’t you just try not logging on to GN.
It’s not rocket science.

If GN isn’t to your liking then just don’t go on it! It’s basically for over 50s though some are younger and there are many different opinions. Some people sometimes complain (don’t we all?) and some are unhappy and ask for advice. Not sure what you were expecting?

For new posters reading the "Complaining & Unhappy people" ( and you could be one of them) probably puts off some who would have posted more and made the site more diverse.
No-one can be compelled to post, or to read what anyone else posts.. If you don't like the selection on offer, then the best thing is to start a new thread yourself and keep chatting in a friendly way to anyone who joins you. You only get out as much as you put in.

That's a shame Jerseygal. There are lots of uplifting threads, witty contributors and diverse topics to discuss.

I've always found GNHQ very helpful for deleting (my own!) posts. There was one occasion when I asked them not to say it was me doing this and they didn't.

What would you like to chat about, Jerseygal?

If I find a site not to my liking I don't go back. I have found loads over the years.

I'm a bit perplexed that you're surprised to find that you keep seeing the same Members here Jerseygal. That's a bit like going to the same club every week and being astonished to find the same people each time. Posters come and go, some have been here for years, some much less but there's quite a wide spectrum of ages, views and opinions across the boards. Don't be put off by the "complaining and unhappy people;" they're no different to any other collective of people in any area of society. Why don't you stay and start threads to lighten the mood and cheer us all up.

I'm perhaps a bit younger than some GN members but there's loads of helpful advice if you need it on many areas of life. What were you looking for? And some names appear more often but that's how it works.

There is a spam message that keeps repeating this morning, headed "Wigs" something other, that GNHQ need to stop. I'm not going into it as that is what is wanted, of course. I don't feed spammers.

I thought she meant me, notgran but it can't be because I am as happy as a pig in the proverbial today. Generally speaking I would say gransnet is a happy place. You wouldn't see me for dust if it was miserable.

Interestingly I see GN as a happy place too because someone inevitably sees good in a discussion and opens eyes to a more positive take on life.
