Recommendations for travel insurance (Europe) / traveller has angina

People have often recommended the post office - but do check as they may have changed their conditions with Covid.

I have stable angina and arthritis (two relaced hips) and I'm insured with Staysure. It covers cancellation due to Covid.

I’ve looked online again now, and HolidayExtras seem to be the cheapest at just under £250. I think I’m going to try and get a telephone appt with my GP though, and get him to clarify (in writing) where my condition is at, as it were. My angina and previously high BP are well managed now by the medications.

Have you searched on me dical travel compared ? That's what I do every year because best offers can vary from year to year .

DH had a heart attack and bypass surgery at the end of 2020, then a hospital induced infection that left him very ill indeed for several months. Of course he also has high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes in remission and sleep apnea.

He combed the market and reckoned the best and cheapest insurer for us was Staysure. I have no medical conditions at all.
