Surely they don't limit their demands to respect for felines?
I'm a sloth today and sometimes I'm a gorilla.
Animal Kingdom rights are Human rights!

We had better check her drawers aren't wet, too.

And a good wash down with hot soapy water with a touch of bleach. We can't have you developing mould, can we? We'd better switch you off at the plug while we do that, water and electricity are a bad combination.

Where I live now I can’t have a cat. I call my son’s cat my grandcat.

MissAdventure Tue 08-Feb-22 14:45:19

Nope!,
Only healthy ingredients for you, Ms Fridge.

I think I'm a fridge.
Please place your chocolate here.

Mental health wards used always to have a few patients who claimed to be Julius Caesar. Have cats taken the emperor's place?

Haven't read the article but there is no a finer creature to identify as imo, the ancient Egyptians deemed them as Gods, they were right they are! which is why they have staff, unlike dogs who merely have owners.

Dogs think they're human
Cats think they're Gods.

I have that fantasy too MissA
I already have a dog and a cat, but I’d still love another cat

MissAdventure Tue 08-Feb-22 14:30:39

I love cats.
I sort of wish someone would dump a kitten on my doorstep, so I'd be "forced" to take it in and spoil it.

My ex used to spout a load of old theory about reincarnation and rebirth.
He asked me what I would come back as, and I said a cat.

Thank you for this thread Avalon

With everything going on in my life, and that of the country, this is just the get out (ahem) clause that I need.
Goodbye cruel world, mine’s a pint of Iams! ?

I'd love to be a cat. But I'm more of a Labrador

Yes I saw this article too. Littlejohn is always great for a laugh.

When our granddaughter was at senior school, there was a girl there who sometimes identified as a cat. This was accepted by teachers and students alike.

Miaow?

According to LittleJohn in today’s Mail online Bristol University (where else) is demanding recognition for those who identify as felines. Have a read if you want a good laugh. I expect lots of catty observations! Actually I identify as a sleek strange black cat but I don’t like mice. Maybe I should see the cat psychiatrist?
