I am curious about people's behaviour.

I wonder how women of all ages can actually walk around shops in pyjamas and rollers. But some how they manage to bother putting their false eyelashes on.
Is there some thing that you are curious about when observing other people?

I find people watching fascinating.

Me too, MissAdventure. It's taught me that there's no such thing as 'ordinary' people. Everyone is so different.

MissAdventure Tue 08-Feb-22 19:16:37

It's shorts, with men.
Whatever the weather - shorts.

I must admit I‘ve never seen a man out in his pyjamas.

MissAdventure Tue 08-Feb-22 18:57:20

I often wonder why people get almost obsessed with having 'their' parking space outside their home.
It must be some primeval instinct that kicks in.

I'm curious too, but not about people out in their pyjamas.
I wonder why somebody thinks that it is okay to walk passed the wall beside our house and help themselves to two very decorative house leeks.
My husband and I noticed they were missing on our way back from a walk this afternoon.
I wouldn't dream of taking someone else's plants.

It's a personal thing, but I do not like seeing people out in pyjamas with slippers on.
I dont judge them
just would not do it myself.

Oh, 'a lewk'.
That's a new one on me.
Yes, it was all colour coordinated, and she had dungarees on.
She looked like a filmstar.

I saw an absolutely stunning young woman on the bus in her rollers a while back.
She had a Hilda Ogden scarf around them, and glossy red lips, and long sweeping false eyelashes. smile

I think that is what is called 'a lewk' MA. The end, rather than the means.

I assume that people out in pyjamas do not care what others think, rightly so.

I am more curious as to why people are indoors not planning on seeing anyone but have full makeup and are dressed as if going somewhere special. I know it is none of my business, I am not judging, just curious.

Yes, I find that very strange Elizabeth27. Do they not like themselves au natural?

It makes you wonder at the state of some people's own pyjamas.

Nortsat
Why yuk Most people are clean, their beds are clean and I assume their Pyjamas are clean.
You might be a bit sniffy about the look, but it hardly warrens a yuk

I've gone out in slippers and I knew it. When I had one of our children ,although I had left a packed bag my DH arrived with only one of my shoes. I had to go down the Hospital steps and out in the forecourt to the car, getting peculiar looks until someone who had obviously gone into labour went past in her Pj's.smile

In a certain town in Essex on a Friday and Saturday afternoon the women all have rollers in, having just stepped out of the hairdresser's to do their weekly shop then go out later for the evening. Why not?

EkwaNimitee Tue 08-Feb-22 17:58:13

I’d be arrested if I went out in my nightwear

MissAdventure Tue 08-Feb-22 17:54:29

I've never asked him if his slippers are washed, but if I had to hazard a guess, I would say yes, they are clean.

MissAdventure Tue 08-Feb-22 17:52:17

Such distaste for nightwear.
Some people must go to bed in an evening gown and kitten heels.

MissAdventure

My friends husband has a pair shaped like boats, then on the front are fishing lines, with fish dangling off them.

does he wash them? or wash his feet. I feel we need to know

My hairdresser visits me at home, often on a Sunday morning, quite early. Of course, I shower and dress before she arrives.
She tells me a number of her ‘home’ clients just stay in their pyjamas, to have their hair done … yuk.

but they are in their homes and will have to shower and get dressed afterwards anyway?

SMELL THE SAME too

JaneJudge Tue 08-Feb-22 17:49:28

I feel a bit guilty that I may have started the pyjama discussions. The women looked clean not like they'd just got out of bed

Lots of men look filthy and like they haven;t washed and sell the same too, can't we discuss them?
