I am curious about people's behaviour.

It's sloppy and lazy. Although others will be along to say we should respect these women. I don't and never will.

I don't understand the shopping in your pyjamas thing - surely it's just as comfortable to put on a sweatshirt and track suit bottoms?

I wonder how people can make snap judgements about people they don't know, and jump to hostile conclusions.

I am also curious about why so many people go out together then spend half the night on their phones (presumably to other people).

I don't understand it either, for the same reasons (and because it just feels 'wrong'), but I don't assume that those who do aren't worthy of respect. I know you didn't say that either - the comment is directed at HettyBetty's post above.

I’m intrigued with the pyjamas thing I’ve read/heard about but not actually seen with my own eyes.

Do they get out of bed and leave the house without showering? Or do they hop into the shower after discarding last night’s attire and pop clean ones on for the shopping or school run?

I can see how this will end, sadly.

I could never do that , it is slovenly, I have to much pride not to go out clean and presentable.

Don't know what my reaction would be but would love to see someone in pjs just to discover that very thing.

My pyjamas are very similar to what I wear anyway, and I wear my everyday t shirts it’s them. Not that I go shopping these days but, when I did I sometimes worried that I’d get into the car wearing my pyjama bottoms. I always wear dark colours as well nice doesn’t help.

I go to the shop in my slippers, or used to, anyway.

The postman complimented me on my reindeer slippers yesterday.

My hairdresser visits me at home, often on a Sunday morning, quite early. Of course, I shower and dress before she arrives.
She tells me a number of her ‘home’ clients just stay in their pyjamas, to have their hair done … yuk.

I feel a bit guilty that I may have started the pyjama discussions. The women looked clean not like they'd just got out of bed

Lots of men look filthy and like they haven;t washed and sell the same too, can't we discuss them?

Such distaste for nightwear.
Some people must go to bed in an evening gown and kitten heels.

I've never asked him if his slippers are washed, but if I had to hazard a guess, I would say yes, they are clean.

In a certain town in Essex on a Friday and Saturday afternoon the women all have rollers in, having just stepped out of the hairdresser's to do their weekly shop then go out later for the evening. Why not?

I've gone out in slippers and I knew it. When I had one of our children ,although I had left a packed bag my DH arrived with only one of my shoes. I had to go down the Hospital steps and out in the forecourt to the car, getting peculiar looks until someone who had obviously gone into labour went past in her Pj's.
