Me. I get up at 04:30 every day. It started with post-chemo PTSD/anxiety/insomnia 9 years ago but has now become a pattern I enjoy.
Have had the dogs out for their early pee. The older one is definitely keen by then; they younger one is "Do I have to?" but the answer is yes.
Have had a coffee, said Morning Prayer, done Wordle and also Facle (the Gaelic version), and am now crocheting a baby blanket while reading Gransnet and waiting for it to be late enough to take a shower - I'm in my fourth week of living in a supported living flats complex and am more than a little intense about not waking others with my sleep patterns.
None of that is anything like the grimness of lying awake and wondering about a loved one, so I've laid down the 5mm hook to send big hugs to Mr. and Mrs. multicolourswapshop.
