Morning everyone! Light rain here in West Yorks. Hope it clears as picking up our grandchild in a few minutes. Loves to go out on their little scooter smile We like to get a bit of fresh air too.

Good morning from our corner of the S Welsh coast, I woke to very heavy rain and strong winds, not sure when it started as there was a lovely full moon during the night.
My optician's appointment showed only a slight change, think I may keep my frames though as I saw the my current ones on display, so they are still in vogue and I like them.
I have ordered some skate from the fish man today, Mr Lins will have his usual plaice I expect.
Our DD has gone into work today, she is still working from home but is going on holiday to the USA on Friday, she wants to sort some things before she goes.
I will brave the weather at some stage and drop a card and some chocs to a neighbour for her 80th birthday. My other friend and neighbour has sadly deteriorated over the last couple of weeks.
There is homemade vegetable soup for lunch from the batch I made yesterday, all the remaining veg went in even sprouts.
Thinking of all with troubles of whatever kind, take care.

Or even happy Tuesday!!!

Good morning everyone from Leicester,

Ashcombe, the flowers are beautiful. DD sent us some in the post on Saturday. They arrive ‘asleep’ and wake up within the day. Lovely!
Mattie, I am thinking of you today.

We are out for our last walk before I start self isolating tomorrow ready for an op. Then meeting the estate agent at my late mum’s flat. We managed to get it ready in time yesterday, and Oh dear me, we did ache at at the end.

Happy Monday everyone.

Good morning everyone from a rainy windy, bleak Yorkshire getting a bit fed up of all this depressing weather now ... grandMattie you mentioned when you put the bin out, you saw Venus which made me reflect on last year i found out when the Space Internation was flying over, or should i say when it was visible it was an emotional moment when I saw it.

Right, what am i doing today ! Well, my youngest GD is coming tilĺ 1.30pm today then her to her other grandmas. We will make some broken biscuit chocolate squares today she loves to made things, either THAT or sew she made a little bag last time, it was really good, she is only 4 so of course i did most of it. When i have dropped her at other grandmas i am going food shopping because all that sits in the fridge is milk (*yes i have milk* haha) butter and some chicken slices for the CAT !!!!!

ENJOY YOUR DAY EVERYONE.

Good morning from a blustery but dry (so far) Oxfordshire. Not much happening today, I blitzed the house over the weekend, my go to when a bit stressed, but received a phone call from the hospital yesterday with good news after my procedure last week. Phew! Didn’t realise I was so concerned until after I got the phone call.
Anyway, prepping some food later ready for the arrival of MsOops and the GCs at the weekend, some vegetarian food that I can freeze until then, I won’t be able to do much when they get here as they are bringing the dog who has just had an op, so I will be dog sitting all week, whilst they go and visit relatives in Scotland.
Have a good day everyone and best wishes to all those with worries and concerns. Lovely flowers Ash

A sad decision by you MCSS but following on from our exchanged p.m’s yesterday evening I think it’s very thoughtful of you to say ‘goodbye’ rather than just ‘disappear’ and have us all wondering about you. Best wishes dear lady. x

Good morning from a very rainy and windy Black Country.

Sad news yesterday. My Brother rang to say SIL’s younger sister had died. Totally unexpected, she was only 62. She lived alone, such a shock.

Took Mum for hearing test and private aids will cost 4K! But will be worth it I think , so she will always have a back up.

Meeting a friend today for lunch out as we have a voucher for 20% off food.

What a lovely bunch of flowers Ashcombe

Wishing you all a good day

Stilllearning Tue 15-Feb-22 08:09:53

Morning from East Ren. Quite a bright sky and no rain at present.
What beautiful flowers Ashcombe, a loving start to your day!

I’m enjoying my cup of tea in my bedroom, the family have their pre school routine and I don’t disrupt it-at least that’s my excuse!

After they leave and my breakfast, I’ll iron the school uniforms, DD’s least favourite task. Coffee, and quick chat if my daughter has a space in her schedule and then home.

Weather permitting, meeting a friend this afternoon for a walk and talk.

Always remembering those needing a thought or prayer and wishing everyone a good day ???

Urmstongran Tue 15-Feb-22 08:06:15

Here’s Matt.

Good morning everyone from south Manchester where it’s chucking it down. Hasn’t stopped since yesterday.

Beautiful bouquet there Ashcombe! I didn’t get one but I did get thoughtfulness which was lovely yesterday. I’d had my appointment with the hygienist and as I was paying (£55 these days!) the receptionist said “a man, I assume your husband, has just been in. He said to tell you he’ll be waiting for you in the car’. What a sweetheart ~ it was bucketing it down since I’d been in and said “I couldn’t let you walk to .... house in this”. Who said romance is dead?
?

No plans for today. Enjoy Tuesday all who can. x

Grandmajean Tue 15-Feb-22 08:01:33

Good morning from East Yorkshire. It’s 2 degrees and dry at the moment.

Still feeling under the weather so I’ll miss coffee morning today and just spend the day resting.

Beautiful flowers Ash

Take care everyone.

Good morning from North Yorkshire. It’s wet again this morning.
I’m hoping it clears soon as I have someone coming to finish the fence and renew some paving. He made a good start yesterday but eventually the weather got the better of him.
Off to Harrogate to meet a friend for coffee this morning, hopefully a walk later and a trustee meeting this evening.
Lots going on for people with (expensive) appointments, house sales and poorly family members. I hope today is better for you all.
Take care everyone.

kittylester Tue 15-Feb-22 07:49:20

Caring thoughts are with you today.

Gwenisgreat1 Tue 15-Feb-22 07:42:42

Good morning all from soon to be wet Harrogate
Yesterday our trip to Leeds did not go to plan? We got to the very busy Apple shop where I explained my phone and watch would not ‘pair’. Many of the staff came to help at different times. They decided my phone needed upgrading. It was taking forever to download - eventually I said we couldn’t wait any longer, I’d have to finish it at home. We dashed to get a bite to eat, then off to find a bus to the Medical Centre DH had an appointment which was supposed to take 30 - 40 Mins. I was not told I couldn’t go in with him until we got there. I had to wait on a hard chair for 1hr 30 mins, by which time my bum was numb! I did ask the staff how long it was going to be, because I could just get the bus home, ‘no’ I was told, ‘he’ll just be 10 mins. It was another 40 mins. What a waste of time! Got home just after 5 pm made tea then set about finishing pairing the watch. Finally finished at bedtime!
This morning have to wait from 8.45 for a call from the hospital consultant then we will go to pick up dog from DD. Then another phone call this pm which will be at least an hour long.
Got to get me ready for the 1st call.
Have the best day you can folks

cornergran Tue 15-Feb-22 07:41:09

Morning Mick, morning All from a very wet corner of Somerset.

Still learning to use our tv. Why so complex? It filled some time yesterday morning along with some sorting before we wandered out for tea and cake via the tip. Today it’s dust removal. I’ll make some random vegetable soup for lunch, then chat to a friend on the phone this afternoon.

An hour to come at the dentist jax? The thought gives me shudders as does your dental bill grandmattie. Beautiful flowers ash, we drifted away from marking 14th many years ago - other than with a card and much cake. smile.

Wishing everyone the best day it can be.

brook2704 Tue 15-Feb-22 07:39:55

Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s a dry start to the day but cold at about 3º
Today I’m doing my usual dance Fitsteps class and then I’ll probably join the ladies afterwards for a coffee. After that I’ll walk into town and get something from M&S to eat for tea later.
Hoping you feel better soon baubles
Hoping everyone finds something to enjoy today and take care all whatever the day brings ?

Pittcity Tue 15-Feb-22 07:36:36

Good morning from sunny Colchester. The forecast is milder with rain, but no sign of either at present.
Tuesday is charity shop day. I really enjoy the change of scene and the interaction with all sorts of people.
Beef curry with Sunday's leftovers tonight as we ate at DD's yesterday.
Love to all ? x

GrandmaSeaDragon Tue 15-Feb-22 07:34:17

Good morning from Rutland where the sun rise is a beautiful pink lilac just now. It’s windy but dry and I can see a red kite hovering. What lovely flowers Ashcombe. Our thoughts are with our SonIL in Perth as he attends his Father’s funeral. No Will has been found yet. Our hopes are that the prospective purchasers of my SisterIL’s house will sign the contract for it’s purchase today and exchange will take place. DH is Executor (she died from MND last year) and it’s been a difficult and long drawn out process.
Wishing you all the best day.

ShazzaKanazza Tue 15-Feb-22 07:33:23

Good morning Mick and everyone from a damp cold Hull with an 80% chance of rain today.
Today it’s off to do shopping for my uncle in assisted living and then pick up mum to go visit him.
He’s so funny. He’s 76. He has special needs and he is constantly saying Boris should be sacked which most of us agree on lol. But that women are the reason this country is going down the nick. But yet he’s desperate to marry one. Anyone! He’s so funny but everyone loves him. I’m usually in need of a glass of wine when I come back.
Unfortunately they are all confined to their flats as there must be covid in there. I always do an LFT before I go. He’s such a sociable man so he just paces the floor and listens and sings to Slim Whitman when he’s stuck in. So hopefully it won’t be for long.
Hope everyone enjoys their day today.

Feelingmyage55 Tue 15-Feb-22 07:26:46

Good morning from the north of Scotland. It is almost light, bright and not raining. I plan to sort out two bookcases, relocate them and hopefully watch a little of the Olympics. Homemade soup and savoury scones for lunch.
Half term means busy cafes so I tend not to go in.
Have a good day everyone.

GrannyGravy13 Tue 15-Feb-22 07:23:19
