Wonderful news soop that you are safely at home, complete with your wonderful sense of humour.
Nannytopsy what a fabulous birth date. Congratulations on the new arrival.
Aldom you must be so worried about your friend flowers
dustyangel a cracked pelvis sounds very painful. Take care and rest as much as you can.

Thank you so much to everyone who’s wished me well. Too many of you to mention, but very much appreciated. I’m pleased to report that the antibiotics are working and the back pains are much better now. I got up this afternoon and watched television in the living room. I’m much better.

Nannytopsy how wonderful. Congratulations to all the family.
Cooee Soop lovely to have you back with us and without the drop bot. Hope you are comfortable and learning to cope with your new plumbing arrangement. So, so pleased to hear from you.
Dustyangel glad you’ve been checked over. Hope the pain recedes now and the new meds help.
Grannmarie sorry to hear your DH is in hospital. Yes not being allowed in makes it so difficult doesn’t it. Like you I am used to being with DH to make sure he’s well looked after. Hope you have good news from the tests soon.
Ah, just read your update and he’s home. A nice soft cushion to sit on and some TLC should help.
Take care all

Granmarie, glad to hear your news. ?

Grannmarie Tue 22-Feb-22 19:23:28

Thank you all flowers
He's just got home, starving and numb bum, I've got a roast chicken dinner ready. They've not told him anything, referred on to outpatients clinic, one step at a time.
Great relief, thanks again for all the good wishes, I'll say an early NNGB ???

Jaxjacky Tue 22-Feb-22 19:19:17

Many congratulations Nannytopsy no excuses for forgetting that birthdate.
So pleased you’ve had a full diagnosis and appropriate medication, appetite is good, may you improve swiftly, do not leave the bed!
And a wonderful, much appreciated message from soop I’m sure you’ll have the farting down to a T with practice ? seriously, very kind of you to post.
Today was a day of catching up with people on the phone, good to hear people’s news and make future arrangements.
Tomorrow I have bits to do at a couple of shops, visit the library then out to lunch with a friend, plus a long needed hair trim. Cutting my own fringe is not a good plan.
Enjoy your evening all x

Soop!!!! Welcome back! You sound very chipper! Here’s an idea for the wind problem - maybe a little flag to wave a warning when a gust is approaching! grin

Congratulations on the new baby, what an amazing birth date! It would have been my dad’s 115th birthday today, as well. smile

I hope your Dh is returned home soon, Grandmarie.

All busy busy here but hope to spend more time in the Kitchen soon.Take care all! Xx

Nannytopsy, what a time/date for a new baby to arrive! Best wishes to you & your family, ( there was a mention on the GM thread of what this date is called).

Warm wishes to you all, especially those with added worries & problems.

‘Evening All’

Brilliant news soop - it’s wonderful to hear from you personally and to know you’re home safe and sound after your surgery. x

Grannmarie Tue 22-Feb-22 17:52:28

So glad to hear that you are back in your wonderful Kitchen, dear Soop, you have been greatly missed. Be a patient patient now and all will be well.

My husband has been in A and E since 10am, sent directly from GP appointment. He hasn't been great for a while, and a lot of nagging/ persuasion was required to get him to make this appointment, his first in 2 years. So today he's had ECG, chest X Ray, bloods, now just back from CT scan...waiting to see Dr.now.

It's strange not being allowed in with him, we always go to our hospital appointments together, some social life! I try to keep him calm cos he gets stressed easily. So I've been texting him all day, trying to keep his spirits up, as well as texting the boys DSs1,2 3 to keep them informed.
I am so thankful for our NHS and our local hospital, not a big city one, but he has been well checked out today and I'm very grateful.

Thinking of you all, especially all in pain.
Congratulations to Nannytopsy, and to Grandmabatty's wee grandson on his 3rd birthday.
