Callistemon21 Sat 19-Feb-22 15:33:39

Probably for the best if home is some distance away. It's early days.

Grannmarie Sat 19-Feb-22 15:32:50

Thanks, Marydoll. Please give Soop our love and best wishes for her speedy recovery. ??
I know she'll be desperate to get home, but perhaps a day or two more to convalesce and practice the new skills will be a good thing.

Marydoll Sat 19-Feb-22 15:16:47

Soop sends her love to all. Not going home just yet.

Lovely to hear from Mr soop that soop is doing well.
Baggs you look completely different from how I imagined you. Does anyone else have an imaginary picture of other Gransnetters?

Grandmajean Sat 19-Feb-22 13:21:54

Great to receive email from mr soop this morning. So glad to hear soop is doing well and hope she gets home soon, in the meantime, she’s in the best place possible to aid recovery.

Jaxjacky Sat 19-Feb-22 12:35:36

Thanks for the email Mrsoop, much appreciated. Lovely, happy photo Baggs.
It’s lashing with rain here down south, son’s power still off, I ran him home earlier to feed their cats, ?for later, but it’s windy too, so engineers may not go out.

mrshat Sat 19-Feb-22 12:19:36

I too remember that photo Baggs and like kittyl cannot believe it is from nine years ago! Happy Days!

Wet & windy again here in East Anglia, the weather forecast is grim.

Warm wishes to you all in this friendly kitchen.

Baggs you are a child! You should be on Kidsnet! grin

It’s a glorious day here in NE Scotland, the sun on snow is blindingly bright. I hope that means Mr Soop can safely Soop home.

grandMattie Sat 19-Feb-22 11:13:21

Juno56 Sat 19-Feb-22 11:11:43

Thank you Mr Soop for your latest GoFundMe update, wonderful news! My very best wishes to you and your 'Darling'.

BlueBalou Sat 19-Feb-22 11:11:18

Thank you Mr Soop for the update, I hope you’re okay too? It’s tough going, I know ?
Blustery and wet here so DH, DS, DDIL and DGCs plus DDog have gone for a muddy walk, daft lot! I expect two very muddy little boys will need a bath on their return (I hope DDog doesn’t!, though I guess I could Chuck her in too!). The washing machine is going to be busy....
I have made chicken Chermoula, a butternut squash version for DS and DDIL who are now vegetarian rather than vegan.
Have a lovely weekend everyone x

Grannmarie

Hoping the Soops have had a restful night.

I'm a bit discombobulated this morning cos the layout of gransnet has changed completely on my phone and I'm finding it very difficult to navigate.
It seems to be a split page with articles down the right hand side and I keep having to enlarge the page to read/ comment. It's not at all like the familiar, intuitive layout I always had. Anyone got any ideas?

Granmarie scroll down to the very bottom of the page and there should be a link that says Mobile Site. Click on that and all should be ok.

Urmstongran Sat 19-Feb-22 10:59:56

Grannmarie Sat 19-Feb-22 10:23:52

Wishing Soop well for her continued recovery to good health, with kind and expert care.??
