Surely awards are given to people who devote their lives to helping others, working day and night in homeless shelters etc. There are some amazingly selfless people who do just that.

As for the thread topic, I quite thought they had forgotten about ‘commitment to a life of service’, left it behind when they went to the US. And of course the real reason they got together is that they were meant to annoy the hell out of us and supply material for GN threads.

I thought it was nice when she cooked with the women of Grenfell tower and produced a book to help them financially. What has happened to all those people displaced from the tower? It is never mentioned. A bit like a disused hotel by me that is being used to temporarily home whole families of people (Maybe from Grenfell, who knows) but also test for covid in the car park. Every time I drive past i think wtf

It's not just you.

It’s not compulsory to keep reading others opinions on matters as it seems to cause Volver so much distress. Do you also keep banging your head against a brick wall because it’s nice when you stop.

You must be aware that many posters now avoid any threads with certain names involved, because they are tedious and repetitive in the extreme. The posters have zero interest in keeping an open mind and continue on as the bitter bigots they have become.
