It was awfully 'of its time'.
She was a good actress, though, and apparently a very nice woman.

I never liked On the Buses as I found it unbearably sexist, even as a young teenager. However Anna Karen was a better actress and it was a horrible end for her, poor woman. May she rest in peace.

It seems she has died in a house fire, some days ago.
I had read it, but wasn't sure if it was true.
She was best known for her role as Olive, in 'On The Buses'.
