Its a dark and wet start here in brackley this morning , and I woke up with the start of continuous nose bleed , lucky all under control .

NannyJan53 Fri 04-Mar-22 10:52:58

Good morning from a very dull and cloudy Black Country.

Just housework today. MrJ's DD is coming from London to stay for the weekend.

Wishing Marydoll and family a truly fabulous day!

Hoping your DH is ok Fanny flowers

Good Morning to you all from an overcast N., Cambs.,

Good wishes for a lovely day for Marydoll & your family.

"Welding", I love your dh's name for weddings, Ashcombe

grandMattie, I hope you have a better day, after such a stressful time & that your DH gets his tests & procedures completed.

It will be nice for you to look forward to seeing your sister a little later in the year, henetha, take care now.

Enjoy your time with your Cambridge family, brook.

Warm wishes for you all, especially those with added worries.

LauraNorderr Fri 04-Mar-22 10:33:55

If you sit in the hairdressers all day Marydoll you’ll miss the wonderful wedding and we’ll all miss a jolly good yarn tomorrow. Have lovely time, I wish you all well.
All the best to others who are suffering or looking after a suffering husband.
Wishing you all peace and some happiness. ????

Annapops Fri 04-Mar-22 10:31:33

Wishing you and your family a wonderful day Marydoll. Wedding bells, what a joyful sound!

Marydoll Fri 04-Mar-22 10:14:30

Megs I hope all goes well. I'm sitting in the hairdressers with DD. I'm loving l the chat.I could just sit here all day! ?

mamaa Fri 04-Mar-22 10:14:30

Morning all, just popped in to say that and, of course send my good wishes to Marydoll and family for a lovely day. If the teaser picture of her dress is anything to go by they'll look a million dollars- a society wedding worthy of a photo in the Tatler or a similar upmarket society publication!

Good morning Mick and everybody. Cloudy and dry in my corner of Lancashire this morning, currently 6°C.

What a trying day for you GrandMattie, I hope your dentist appointment goes well and good luck for tomorrow.

Hoping all goes well today Marydoll, looking forward to a pic or two.

Enjoy your visit Brook Cambridge is a beautiful city.

Pleased yesterday was so positive for your DH Scentia, onwards and upwards.

I hope your husband is OK Fanny, hallucinations sound scary.

Henetha that’s a wise decision, it is hard when you are so far apart.

Mr.B is remarkably pain free following yesterday’s root canal procedure, a trip to the coast is planned for this afternoon.

The actions of the madman in charge in Russia are truly terrifying, he means to flatten Ukraine. He is also telling the most appalling lies to the Russian people. I have donated to the DEC Ukraine appeal, am trying to find out how to help any refugees arriving in the UK.

Wishing you all the best possible day. May all those with worries find some comfort and all who are under the weather find some relief. ?

Litterpicker Fri 04-Mar-22 10:10:31

Good morning Mick and everyone.

First, very best wishes to Marydoll, your son and about to be daughter-in-law for the wedding. The dress fabric is beautiful.
Sadness for your daughter and her unworn dress -I hope she will find the right home for it.

Megs36 I hope your extraction goes well. I had similar in January and it was all fine - dentistry is so much more sophisticated these days. Be sure to rest and relax afterwards to help the healing process.

My busy day on Tuesday and book group on Wednesday all went very happily. I managed to get downstairs in the house looking quite respectable- don’t look at upstairs ?

Off to World Day of Prayer Service (used to be Women’s WDofP).

henetha Fri 04-Mar-22 10:04:22

Thank you SK. Yes, I am hoping zoom is easy as then I would feel at least I was taking part. And I will look forward to seeing my sister later. She might be moving to London apparently, to live near their son.

ShazzaKanazza Fri 04-Mar-22 09:54:18

henetha I agree with your sister about you not going. A lovely relaxing trip in the summer to spend quality time with her and remembering you BIL together will be much better.
If you have zoom downloaded to your lap top or phone it’s quite easy.

Megs36 Fri 04-Mar-22 09:52:04

Good morning all, and a Happy Day to Marydoll and family.
.
Today the first of three-tooth extractions to replace with denture large gap left by missing bridgework more than four weeks ago. The first appointment was cancelled so ?this time. I am amassofshaking jelly!!

henetha Fri 04-Mar-22 09:46:04

Thank you, ladies. It was playing on my mind dreadfully. I couldn't sleep. I still feel vaguely uncomfortable about not going but my sister insisted, very nicely, that I should not go.
It's going to be on zoom apparently, so I can watch it on there, if I can learn to use zoom ok.

Urmstongran Fri 04-Mar-22 09:39:26

You will feel relieved a decision has been taken henetha. It will all have been playing on your mind I expect.

hulahoop Fri 04-Mar-22 09:37:34

* Henetha I have always said you don't have to be there to remember ,a visit to your sister in the summer will be appreciated no doubt.Hope the day goes well Marydoll .Best wishes to all having tests ,mammograms etc and hope results are ok .?

BlueBalou Fri 04-Mar-22 09:35:13

Good morning, it’s sunny here in north Wiltshire ?
Just back from getting my hair done, quick coffee then take DDog for a slow amble around the block (hope I can find some footwear too over the bandages), then ironing and a tidy up.
Perhaps I will do some baking later.

Nannytopsy Fri 04-Mar-22 09:30:33

Good morning Mick and all his followers. It’s grey in Suffolk but mercifully dry. DH is going to paint the shed and I have gardening to do. The shed must be done before I can tie in the new climbing rose, which is growing well. I will empty and replant one of my two front door pots which has vine weevils, but they will have to be mismatched until the summer planting!
Have a wonderful day Marydoll and family. I hope the day is kind to us all.

henetha Fri 04-Mar-22 09:29:09

Good morning from a sunny day at last in south Devon near the moors.
For those who have been kind enough to show an interest in my recent events, it has now been decided that I must not travel to Scotland for the funeral. It's too much for me, they think. I will visit my sister this summer instead.

FannyCornforth Fri 04-Mar-22 09:26:14

Shazza got it! Thank you!
It looks absolutely beautiful ?

luluaugust Fri 04-Mar-22 09:23:33

Good morning all from a miserable wet W Kent. DH has a busy day with hospital appointments, I hope to briefly see a friend. Enjoy your day Marydoll, love the dress material.

Jaxjacky Fri 04-Mar-22 09:21:02

Good Morning from a grey, damp S Hants, late for me, we had a delicious lie in.
Sorting out lifts today for those who called yesterday, Tesco will deliver later and pub tonight.
I’ll have to read all your posts with my second cup of Tree.
Have a good day all ??.

ShazzaKanazza Fri 04-Mar-22 09:19:31

FannyCornforth, did you see the little teaser pic of Marydolls dress on today it looks hand painted so beautiful can’t wait to see the full outfit ?

EkwaNimitee Fri 04-Mar-22 09:03:13

Good morning Mick and everyone from grey damp Carlisle.

I do hope it's not too damp in Glasgow...I wish you all a very happy wedding day, Marydoll.

No serious exertions planned here today, some minor housework and then I must get down to booking trains and a hotel for my trip to London at the end of the month. I still can't make my mind up about having an extra day to do some sightseeing. At the moment I can't summon up too much enthusiasm for the idea but wonder if I will regret not doing it once I'm there.
Other than that it will be a pottering about sort of day, there's plenty to amuse myself with.
Wishing you all a good day and a bit of sun.

Good morning from wet South Yorkshire. Only shopping planned today before picking up the grandchildren from school. Wishing you a really lovely day Marydoll xx
