I would vote for Bob Mortimer any day.

I definitely would not vote for Billy C as I remember Ken Bigley.

Love Bob Mortimer, he'd be great! Just finished reading his book "And Away" v funny! I'd also suggest Eddie Izzard...

Sandi Toksvig would get my vote. She founded the Women's Equality Party in 2015, so has a political side as well as being a very clever woman with a great sense of humor.

We already have a ‘comedian’ at the helm, an unfunny one! Let’s’ not put the lovely Bob up there.

Zelensky has a law degree but I don’t know if he ever practised as a lawyer before becoming a comedian.

Peter Kay for PM for me. He's so down to earth and would know what the everyday man (or woman) needs.

If he hadn't died a couple of years ago, I would have nominated Jeremy Hardy - clever, funny and always on the side of the downtrodden. I would nominate Mark Steel for the same reasons. Showing my socialist colours, I suppose.

I used to love Billy Connolly but went off him a bit as he got older, as he seemed to get less funny and more grumpy. Maybe he had started to feel unwell. There was also that incident in 2004 when he said that if the captors of Ken Bingley, taken hostage in Iraq, were going to carry out their threats to decapitate him, he wished they would "get on with it." Which, of course, they did, poor man. Maybe Billy isn't meant for international diplomacy.

Bob Mortimer is hugely likeable, unlike Vic Reeves, who really irritates me for some reason. Yes, let's all pledge to vote for Bob!

I'd love Bob Mortimer too, but I need to know about someone's values I want someone who is going to look after the poor, disabled and refugees too, so I'd go Eddy Izzard or Billy Connolly but my best choice of all would be Emma Thompson, who I think is just fab but she isn't really a comedian. Basically, and I am really going to do this, I'll vote for anyone who isn't a Tory or other right wing person, so cos I live in a Tory safe seat I'm going to vote Lib Dem in a Progressive Alliance get rid of Tories vote

Me too. Over the past few years I find that I now have a lot of unexpected heroes. Deborah is one of them. Her tweets are the stuff of legend. For PM I want Adam Hill ( pity he’s Australian ) with Gary Lineker as deputy.

I can think of a few people I would like to see as PM. Obviously none of them are politicians.

I read somewhere that those who want to become politicians shouldn't, I don't think it was part of Zelensky's life plan. Having said that would gentle Bob want such a job, I think not!'
