My dear mum's wedding ring is just sitting in my jewellery box, I couldn't wear it as a ring, I thing a wedding ring is such a personal thing. But it seems a shame, should I have it remade into a pendant? What's everyone's views please

I couldn't bear to give my Mum's rings away, My Mum's fingers were tiny and her rings just fit on the top of my little finger so I had her wedding ring used to make her engagement ring in my size, one was 22ct gold and one 18ct so it has to be classed as 18ct now.

I gathered together old gold, unworn and maybe broken jewellery belonging to me and from my family and had it all made into a bangle at a local jewellers shop.

The undertakers returned DH's wedding ring to me. I would love to wear it, but it is much too big, so it is sitting in my jewellery box.

I wear my grandmother's wedding ring and have done since I was married. We were close and she had a happy marriage, as have I. I am proud to share the ring and will pass it to my granddaughter to do with as she will.
