Do you know what day of the week you were born on?

Inspired by an MN thread, where the poster had gone her whole life thinking she was a Sunday child, because that's what her mother had told her, only to discover she was in actual fact a Monday child.
I just googled my dob and day and I'm Wednesday's child. Full of woe.
That's me stuffed then grin

All I know is it was a Monday. But there is a Website on which you can find out the day of a particular date.

Woeful Wednesday for me - though I'm pretty optimistic most of the time!

I'm a Sunday child and it was not just any old Sunday, it was a Whit Sunday and pouring with rain, apparently.

Friday's child, as is my son, and obviously we both are.
My daughter is a Sunday child, and obviously she is perfect in every way.

Amazing! I reached the age of 84 without ever knowing or wondering what day of the week I was born! And along comes this thread, so I googled my birth date and now know I was born on a Monday. Thank you snowberryZ

Wednesday
Full of woe. Yes that's definitely me. Pessimistic and miserable.

I do not know about people fiddling dates for tax reasons, but i do remember that DS was a fortnight overdue and I was taken into hospital on a Saturday morning to be induced and by Monday evening he was still quite happy where he was, although I was getting a bit fed up, when I suddenly realised that if he wasn't born until Tuesday I would get another weeks maternity benefit and decided that after all the trouble he was causing, he could at least hold on where he was until midnight had passed so that I would get the extra cash.

He did and so did I.

Sunday.

I am sure all my boys are Sunday children. One was actually born on a Sunday, one was born on 1 November which is always a Bank holiday here, and one was born on a Friday but he was induced and still took all day to come. I am convinced he was holding out for Sunday whereas the hospital staff were in a hurry to get away for the weekend.

Mondays child here ,all my sisters were born on Sunday ,and that started a long list of things that I did differently from the rest starting with a different priest who baptised me on the Sunday after I was born...the others all had the same wee Italian/Irish priest

Redhead56 Mon 07-Mar-22 08:57:29

Tuesday child

PinkCosmos Mon 07-Mar-22 08:53:36

Thursday. I have far to go smile. I love travelling so I don't know if that is what it means.

Friday 13th for me. Gemini.

One of my daughter's used castor oil to ensure ALL FOUR of her children were born on the last Sunday of the month!!!

My father and his twin sister were born in 1906. His parents forgot about registering the births, and being afraid of getting into trouble for this, when they registered them put their birth date exactly one month later than it was.

I was born on a Tuesday! which is not what I am at all!

Monday's Child by Colin McNaughton:
(Makes me smile)
Monday’s child is red and spotty,
Tuesday’s child wont use the potty.
Wednesday’s child wont go to bed,
Thursday’s child will not be fed.
Friday’s child breaks all his toys.
Saturday’s child makes an awful noise.
And the child that was born on the seventh day,
Is a pain in the neck like all the rest, OK.

I was born on a Saturday

Calendargirl Mon 07-Mar-22 08:51:19

Tuesday.

Have never known what I weighed though. Mum was always vague about it. 6lb’ish I think.

Maggiemaybe Mon 07-Mar-22 08:50:01

Sabbath Day child here, and all true of course. wink

Chestnut Mon 07-Mar-22 08:47:38

I'm a Tuesday child, but I don't think 'full of grace' means you're a ballet dancer. Grace also means 'blessed' and that seems to be true when I think of all the scrapes I've somehow survived.

Shelflife Mon 07-Mar-22 08:47:20

Me and my twin were Easter Sunday babies . ??.
