Margaret Thatcher sold off water, gas, transport etc. Michael Heseltine was proud that he filled in the mines with concrete. Although I am not a Tory ( nor am I a Labour voter) I feel more disappointed that a Tory government sold off our reserves. Now, we have nothing to rely on . Surely even a child knows you need to keep something back. I can't be critical of Gordon Brown as in comparison his act was nothing like that of the Tories in the 80's.
