My thoughts are with you Kittylester ?
Happy birthday Georgesgran?.I have a bad few days trying to speak with Dr following my bone scan regarding treatment .I had end of treatment talk with breast nurse last week she said go should have received report oh well no big deal in the scheme of things just frustrating !!
Good morning Mick and all from Sunnyside northwest coast.
DS here and so handy, ticked off lots of little jobs and he cooked a nice meal last night. It’s also nice to be handed a cup of tea, doesn’t happen when you live alone.
I’m about to hand him a boot with a broken zip to see what he can do with it, Timpsons quoted £45!
Out for lunch with old (and old means someone over ten years older than yourself) friend, another gabalot, so very easy company. He’s picking me up with his ‘careful’ but slightly worrying driving…
Thoughts to kittylester grandMattie chrissielou many Happy Returns of the Day to georgesgran and thoughts to anyone with troubles,
?and prayers Kittylester* and always remembering the other DDS and their mums.
Sorry to hear your news Kittylester . That’s 4 of us now with poorly DD’s. We can be a good support for each other and please get in touch if you want to off-load. It really does help knowing others are going on this awful journey with us.
Take care and best wishes to your daughter. ❤️
You are so right shazza.
Thank you everyone for your kind messages aboutcDD1. I have been feeling guilty about not being very present on the GM thread for the last few weeks and now you have all be so lovely. Thank you.
Chrissie and Kitty wishing your DDs and you both all my best wishes for the worrying times ahead for you all and for the best outcomes in the future. I have a DD and can’t possibly imagine the stress you are feeling. You have great support on this thread as you know. ??
Chrissielou, sorry I didn't include you & your DD in my thoughts.
I often forget to mention all that I should, please know that I read your posts, & think of all you virtual friends.
Good morning Mick and everybody. Sunshime in my corner of Lancashire this morning, currently 9°C.
I have a Healthier You zoom meeting today. I still haven’t finished sorting the boxes of craft stuff so will carry on with that. If the weather holds I will go for a walk.
Thinking of you Grandmattie.
Safe journey Grandmadinosaur, I always used to enjoy my travels but it feels so good to get home.
Do try not to do too much Marydoll, the eBay queen’s invitation sounds most tempting though!
Happy Birthday Georgesgran
For all with health worries, their own or family, I hope there is better news soon.
Wishing you all the best possible day. May all those with worries find some comfort and all who are under the weather find some relief. ?
Good Morning from a bright, sunny N.,Cambs.,
Birthday greetings to Georgesgran,
Thinking of you grandMattie,
Kittylester, sorry that you have upsetting news of your daughter.
Also, I continue to think of your DD, Gingster.
Take care,
for you all
A beautiful cold bright sunny morning in Oxfordshire. DD1 has her scan today to establish the situation following the 8 week drug trial, results on Thursday via video call with consultant, which thankfully i can join. Traditional chemo starts next Monday. Her children are wonderful and despite being young, give her such hope.
A new working week, but thankfully from home for the coming months.
How lovely to see the sunshine, it just needs to warm up a bit!
Goo£ morning all, Ashcombe. I have had two messages (different numbers) with the same message as you. As I rarely ,never, see anyone I thought they sounded suspicious. My son said they are scams now there is a charge for test kits and usually follow with instructions for sending for some.
Best wishes all .
Good morning Mick, Annie and all.
Grandmattie, sending love and a gentle hug to help you through the day.
Also to the GN's whose daughters are on brave journeys with their health diagnoses. There is nothing like a mum when you are feeling down. Just sad that my own is not here. But, my DD has been a rock.
She visited yesterday, on the way back from a weekend away. So we fed them, as you do.
She had brought a KS sheet to try on our bed, as our extra deep DB size, was so difficult to get on.
All was fine and we left it on the bed. DH , this morning says, have you changed the sheet? He didn't notice when he got into bed last night, only when he made it this morning!
Have a good day one and all.
Good Morning from sunny Harrogate
I have a new favourite word - Scurryfunge! - it's what you do when expecting guests and have a quick tidy up, I love it!!
GrandMattie
Chances if you do get Covid, Ashcombe it will be very mild, so don't worry. Have a safe journey home Grandmadinasaur.
Kittylester
Happy Birthday Georgesgran enjoy your fizz.
Just had a telephone call from my GP, it's the first re-assurance I've had since being told I have heart failure, that it's only mild and it's still fairly solid! She's getting me hospital appointments that should improve my breathing! Phew!!
This am I HAVE AN EMPTY!! DH is helping to plant a hedge at DGDs school.
Have the best day possible folks!
Morning all from a bright and blue West Oxfordshire. Our gardener is popping round this morning to sort out the back garden. My neighbour has a craft Monday once a month so I will be going to that after lunch. I will be mainly knitting. It is OHs turn to cook tonight so I think we’ll be having a Chinese.
Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s a lovely sunny start to the day and not too cold.
Sorry to hear that worrying news Kitty sending ❤️ to you and your DD
I’m posting late today as we had the DGC sleeping over last night so it’s been a bit hectic with getting them up, washed and dressed in time for school etc as they’re such slow coaches in the morning. Anyhow they’re both safely delivered to school and I’m back home now with my tea and toast.
Safe journey home grandmadinosaur I’m counting the days until we go!
Hoping all those with covid recover soon, take care all whatever the day brings ?
Best wishes for your DiL, kitty. Many hugs… x
Oops sorry belated Birthday wishes to you too * Maw* ??

Good morning all from a sunny W Kent. Woke to be greeted by news DD2 has covid so that is two out of four in her house, who next?
Pile of ironing looking at me but must get a walk in at some point.
to all of you having a troubling day.
Good morning from a bright and sunny Essex by the sea.
I'm sorry to hear your news Kitty. So many of us on here have had or have daughters going through treatment for cancer. I send my very best wishes to you all. I know what a dreadful worry it is
.
I am getting ready for my week at DD1's leaving early on Wednesday morning. I'm so looking forward to seeing them all. The last time was on Boxing Day.
Have the best Monday you can and best wishes to all xxx
Good morning from a sunny NE.
Use have been cold during the night as the heating came on at 4am, couldn't get back to sleep so lay and read.
I have a painful hip this morning, I swept up some leaves in the garden yesterday.
No visitors and no phone calls so caught up on some recorded TV, four episodes back to back, a real luxury.
Happy Birthday Georgesgran ? ? ?
Good morning Mick and all from sunny Carlisle.
Yesterdays dreary wetness had gone by mid-morning so I was tempted out into the garden and found I was good for a bit of work. I didn't want to push my luck and found a new book to read in the afternoon.
I woke up this morning after over 7 hours unbroken sleep. I don't know when that last happened-I usually have to wake at least once to put drops in my dry eyes. So I'm geared up for my usual Monday morning of laundry and housework. And hopefully planting things in the garden this afternoon.
I was sorry to read your post this morning, grandMattie, I wish you better times today. And gingster, kitty and all of you with problems, there seem to be a lot of them about at the moment.
Kittylester ?
