smile

I love that it has a mortgage calculator. Only 42k a month grin

Elegran Fri 18-Mar-22 18:27:29

I think that is a man. Could it be Manzanera himself?

MissAdventure Fri 18-Mar-22 18:26:45

That's it then, I'm destined to live in that house, because the first ever record I bought was Virginia Plain.
smile

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 18-Mar-22 18:24:55

Or 1974?

Elegran Fri 18-Mar-22 18:22:32

Photo 21 On the beam "Manzanera fecit MCMDXXIV " Date is a bit indisticnt, but I think that is right - "Manzanera built it, 1975"

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Manzanera

MissAdventure Fri 18-Mar-22 17:57:46

Oh yes!
She looks a friendly sort, anyway.
How could I have missed her? smile

What?!
A ghost?
Where? shock
I don't like ghosts!

Picture 21 I think it was MissA.

MissAdventure Fri 18-Mar-22 16:56:50

I don't like dicks either. grin

Coastpath Fri 18-Mar-22 16:51:35

Or is it Dick Strawbridge?

When I see houses like these I always shudder at the thought of all the mowing and vacuuming. Imagine the energy bills!!!

kittylester Fri 18-Mar-22 16:45:34

Not sure who it's the ghost of but I'm glad someone else saw it!

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 18-Mar-22 16:37:15

The ghost of Hercule Poirot?

I actually love this one but am I the only person to have seen the ghost?

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 18-Mar-22 16:27:06

The kitchen isn’t big enough and I need a more manageable garden. Is it on the edge of a village? That’s a must.

Well, I'd have a cat if I lived there, so as long as your dog is ok with cats thats fine. smile

Oh yes, she was most respectful of our lovely cat, and was bereft when he died, she missed him.

LadyStardust Fri 18-Mar-22 16:05:10

The lodges look nice. smile

Antonia Fri 18-Mar-22 16:00:13

It's a bit cramped for DH and I. Otherwise, I'd be putting an offer in. grin

a famous musicians house surely? smile

Yes, I like that one. There would have to be a constant battalion of staff though to wipe the dog kisses of the doors, my dog likes to look out you see.....Is it ok to bring my dog? She is rather old, deaf, and a tad smelly.....Do you think we could afford a small minibus and driver? Need someone to bring us back from the pub take us shopping

MissAdventure Fri 18-Mar-22 15:34:01

Do you think so, Jane?
I can play 'pease pudding hot' on the recorder.
I could fit in there.

GillT57 Fri 18-Mar-22 15:31:26

Elegran

But there are six houses and cottages and two integral flats, plus planning permission to create two further residential units, so if eleven of us got together that would be less than a million each, and the income from those four office units in the (beautiful and doubtless high quality) converted stable block providing let income would offset that quite a bit . . . .

What are we waiting for?

we could all live together like the Thursday Murder Club......I can provide the wine.

You could chuck a few water lilies on the pond and market it as Monet's Bridge. Those Chinese tourists would never know the difference.

I’d love to know how many staff you’d need to employ to keep something like this looking half decent!! Probably a small army ? (the reception hall is absolutely gorgeous!)
