I would Jane but it’s too far from the station. One hates to get the RR out just for five miles.

But there are six houses and cottages and two integral flats, plus planning permission to create two further residential units, so if eleven of us got together that would be less than a million each, and the income from those four office units in the (beautiful and doubtless high quality) converted stable block providing let income would offset that quite a bit . . . .

I love the reception entrance hall. You could sweep down those stairs in your ball gown, on the arm of Mr Darcy, or lean over the balcony to watch the distinguished visitors arrive.

We could ask GNHQ to buy it so that we could stay there for R and R, plus some pampering sessions? Not sure how long the waiting list might be though, or how it would be decided as to who is most worthy of staying there … ?
