DGD2 is playing in a football match the other side of Birmingham this morning.
Today is the day of the dance show for DGD1 and DGD3. Two shows today and I am going to the evening one.
DD1 has been a chaperone for the younger girls all week and is shattered, tomorrow we can all relax.
Take things easy today GM flowers.
Enjoy Saturday whatever you are doing xx

Good morning from the NE where it is sunny again ?
Family are visiting this afternoon after they have done a seaside walk.
Yesterday was a lazy day, could not motivate myself to get moving, so watched some TV. I had been unable to access iplayer or Netflix the day before.
Enjoy the weekend those who are out and about.

Here’s Matt.

Good morning everyone from Malaga where it’s sunny ? but after today the forecast is pretty dire for a good few days. We fly home next Wednesday lunchtime so the plan is to be out and abouting today while we can - after today we may need a rowing boat by the looks of things.

Enjoy Saturday all who can. x

Good morning Mick, morning all from gloriously sunny South Lanarkshire.

Mattie, I hope you have a better day.

I’m hoping the good weather brings lots of customers to our charity shop today. Saturdays can be very hit or miss.

Have the best day you can. ??

Good morning all from a bright North Leicestershire.

Thank you all for your good wishes for DD yesterday. Her appointment went well. She has hormonal breast cancer in a milk duct. It is fast growing but has not spread. She is booked for a mastectomy in mid April followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy. A long, hard road ahead for DD and all who love her but not as bad as we had feared.

Oh, and DH has covid and is coughing for England.

Sending love send healing thoughts to everyone. And thank you to everyone again.

Morning Mick, morning All. A sunny day ahead for our corner of Somerset

Yesterday was frustrating, nothing went quite the way I had hoped. Not sure how today will shape up, a walk with luck although may stay away from the beach, too many people. A potter in the garden could reduce built up stress.

Thinking of all poorly or worried people, hope Saturday is gentle with us all.

Morning all! Heart goes out to all those with difficulties. Don't want to single them out in case I miss anyone. I have son1 here on a short visit. Wonderful and everything I hoped and imagined it would be. Added bonus is today is his birthday (53). His choice of celebratory is that we go to a football match together!! I've agreed. How's that for maternal dedication?!! A lovely lunch beforehand will soften the blow and, the weather is decidedly beautiful, thank goodness. Hope you all find your high point. Chers!!

Good morning all from a chilly Glasgow, but the sun is shining!

I concur with Maw, we think we can keep going, but eventually our body protests and we have no control over things, as I know to my cost. You must be kind to yourself.

Have a good day folks, mine will be a gentle one.

Chrissielou Sat 19-Mar-22 07:06:19

It is the most beautiful morning in Oxfordshire, sunshine forecast all day. We are going out walking for the day with our dog, we will take food and coffee and walk the Ridgeway. Walking is my passion, so to do it on such a lovely day is perfect.
I'm thinking of those who have so much to cope with, those with poorly DDs like me, and those feeling ill with covid, may you all find comfort today.

Good morning all ?.

GM we are all with you in spirit. ?. Hope the labrynthitis eases. You can do without that! ?. Keep on , keeping on! ?.

Our window cleaner turned up the day after the Sahara dust fell. ‘I know you’re not due yet but would you like me to do your windows now’. What a lovely chap! Dh cleaned the car so we’re all shiny again.

We’re off (fairly) early up to Suffolk to see how our seaside abode is faring. We left in such a rush, leaving fences down, cables dangling, no power and boiler not working. After storm Eunice ! A new one is needed! Agh!

Ash I do hope you’re feeling better?.

Ladyleftfielder I hope your painful ear eases! ?.

Spring is really showing it’s lovely face now, and the sun will be shining, so I’m hoping we all have a ‘lovely’ day ???

Good morning from ? ? N Bucks. What a glorious morning!
As we feared, GS’s birthday (3) picnic in Lloyd Park has had to be postponed as his Daddy is still testing positive (Day 9) although feeling a lot better. Fortunately the storyteller D had booked can do next Saturday so fingers crossed!
Poor little boy has not had a birthday party yet -born on March 17 2019- but fortunately is too young to realise and not too much was made of today’s do in advance.
Poor you GM I think your body is protesting - listen to it! Easy to say, I know and harder to do but you cannot be of much good to your DH if you crack up yourself.
My neighbours (and probably best friend) left at sparrow fart for 4 weeks in their house in the Limousin - I will miss them and don’t envy them the drive but at least they were not planning to use the ferry!
I hope today is kind to you all - a silver lining to not going to London is that I can watch wall to wall rugby. Allez les blancs/bleus/rouges/verts!

Ashcombe Sat 19-Mar-22 06:51:03

Good morning, all, from a very windy but fine Torbay.

Poor you, grandMattie, suffering from labyrinthitis on top of everything else. Do you find Sudafed helpful? It was recommended by my GP last year when I first had that condition. I hope you’ve had a restful night, also your DH.

Finally, I’ve managed a whole night's sleep in bed, thanks to a combination of an antihistamine, cough medicine, paracetamol and tiredness! Thank you, everyone, for your kind comments in recent days. It does help when one is feeling unwell.

Happy weekend, everyone! ??????

grandMattie Sat 19-Mar-22 06:31:29

Good morning from a bright, sunny E Kent.
Nota good day again yesterday - this time, I joined the fray with exhaustion induced labyrinthitis… was very, very busy, + I was exhausted having had little sleep.
I’m ready to go, thankfully, to see what life throws at us today.
Hope those smith celebrations enjoy them, those who are I’ll or sad, have a gentle day.
Carpe diem ?????

Good Morning Mick and everyone from a clear sky and milder (7.0c) south coast. We are promised another lovely day with lots of sunshine. Sounds just the ticket!

We are off to get the click and collect at 7am, return for unpacking and breakfast then DH is out with his bike club on a morning ride. I shall enjoy my Saturday treat of reading the paper and maybe doing a few chores in and amongst. Love Saturdays!

Waiting for news from GM and hoping things have calmed down a bit for her. Such a difficult time for her and Mr GM. flowers. Also flowers for Ashcombe and hoping that she is on the mend from the virus. We must not get complacent about it - it's still circulating.

We tackled the Saharan sand yesterday and cleaned the car, patio table and even the patio doors. It was just bad luck that our window cleaner came the day before the sand arrived! The other windows will have to wait for his next visit.

Take care everyone and have the best day you can. sunshine

Ladyleftfieldlover Sat 19-Mar-22 06:27:55

Morning all from a coldish West Oxfordshire. I might spend another day in bed. My cold is much better but I have an earache now! Or I might get up and spend the day on the sofa.
