Why does it sometimes come up as blanks and sometimes as yellow squares?

grey blanks means no letters......yellow means yes but in different place.

Yes, I know, but when I copy and paste on here sometimes it looks just as it does in Wordle with yellows, greys and greens and sometimes with little blank squares as it did today.
confused

I did Nerdle the other day but the colours were so similar in the squares it was confusing.
