I think I was lucky that the last two letters were correct in my first word Patsy70 - there weren't a great deal of options after that.

I used a different first word today.

I always feel a bit sceptical about this Wordle, tbh, ever since I had two words, legit in my Lewis and Short, which it denied.
I wrote to complain in a fit of pique, asking what they recommended instead(!) as dear old L and S was The Bible during my research years (and beyond).
I got a personal reply, almost straightaway, thanking me and asking me to let him know whenever it happened again?
Hmm.
Funnily enough, fairly soon after that, I found that their definitions were, indeed, as in referenced in L and S?
