Flying the flag ??

I’ve printed off a small paper Ukrainian flag and put it in my front window. I know this does not directly help the Ukrainians but it will keep their terrible plight in the front of people’s minds. Anyone want to join me?

Are you fund raising with your school/church/community?

It's a good thought, but none of my windows face the footpaths.
Our community is very good at raising money and giving clothes, and life's necessities. Just this weekend there was a plant sale, and the local firestation has been open to receive donated goods.

I've simply bought some bright yellow and bright blue ribbon and tied some of each to my side mirror and to my rear windscreen wiper. I treated the cut ends with a little transparent nail varnish to stop fraying.

We are also helping local Ukrainians to send supplies there and the ribbons help to remind myself and others of the situation.

We’ve just been to a concert at the South Bank Centre in aid of Ukraine - a lot of Ukrainian performers, plus video links from Ukraine, and their National Anthem was played at the end.

It was in the huge Queen Elizabeth Hall, and it was packed.
