I don’t care for beards, having seen a few of dh and ds friends with and without beards, I’m of the opinion they are grown by many men to hide weak chins.

. The beard remained for the rest of DH's life with MIL constantly apologising to all and sundry for her Son's appearance and blaming me for this embarrassment. Strangely? both DDs chose bearded men and 15yo DGS has said he will grow a beard in the summer holidays (not permitted at school)
