Joe Wicks yesterday. Shows he’s human I suppose. You don’t get to keep a bod like that without working out regularly it seems. And the pies probably didn’t help!

DH had a physical job so was very strong - but never had a six pack which is the way I liked him!

PinkCosmos Tue 05-Apr-22 11:02:56

I think he just needs to breathe in on the second photo.

I like Joe Wicks. He helped a lot of people with his keep fit sessions during lockdown. He seems like a genuine normal bloke.

Having seen loads of pictures of him I was quite shocked when I heard him speak. His voice wasn't at all what I was expecting - sorry hmm

Not keen on the muscle men, they come across as quite vain to me.

I don't like a man who has better hair than me smile

I can’t stand a skinny man there is nothing more off putting.

My OH weighed about 8 stone! He would not have stood a chance with you! smile

Overworked "gym" muscles are really unattractive to me. Good job as I am sure my blancmange body style is unappealing to muscular men! ?

I prefer the "after" version of Joe Wicks! He's got a very handsome face, too.

Rather a skinny man than a fat one, surely? I do prefer somebody who looks after themself. Not that Joe falls into either category, before or after eating all the pies.

Can't stand fat chubby men.
Or overly skinny ones.
But would prefer a man to be on the firm skinny fit muscularside to fat.
We all have personal preferences I suppose.

Get yourself sorted Joe!grin

First pic. Ooh la la!?
Second pic. ? proper dad bod.

In my case looks, size or age are immaterial. My men have to have a certain ‘Je ne sais quoi’, never fancied beefcakes. (Perhaps because I’m a veggie!) wink

Honeysuckleberries Sun 03-Apr-22 11:27:58

I seem to remember this happening before. Doesn’t he do this most years? Perhaps I’ve lost the plot, wouldn’t be at all surprised.

JaneJudge Sun 03-Apr-22 11:15:41

He still looks quite muscular

One of my sons is into weight lifting and constant gym going and tbh I worry about it all a bit. To show some of those muscles in the first Joe picture, you have to not eat for several days

MissAdventure

He was a S.A.S member, too.
I can't remember what programme he was on but he is tough as nails.

MissA His name is Ant Middleton he has the S.A.S programmes as you said similar to Bear Grilles but far more attractive.

My preference is always up for further scrutiny.

No, absolutely no!!

LauraNorderr Sun 03-Apr-22 10:46:09

Not my cup of tea either MissAdventure but could be an occasional martini iyswim.

Casdon Sun 03-Apr-22 10:46:05

I can’t think of anybody I know at all with macaroni arms over the age of 30 Witzend. A few are slim and fit, but not skinny in the way you mean ie in the right weight range for their height and age. I can think of many overweight and grossly overweight men though sadly.

Depends what you call skinny.
If it means weak and weedy-looking, with macaroni arms, give me a chunkier bloke every time!

My sons are opposite ends of the spectrum. So wish they'd meet in the middle!

Coastpath Sun 03-Apr-22 09:55:22

My friend once described going to bed with a skinny man as like tripping over a bicycle in a dark hallway. grin

Especially if his thighs are thinner than yours.?
