Good morning from Essex by the sea where the sun is shining but it is cold.
DH is off to rugby this morning with one grandson, the other is on his way to Egypt for a family holiday.
I have already prepared the vegetables for our roast pork dinner later this afternoon.
Good to hear that your DH is eating again GM.
I'm sorry to hear about your DH Grandmadinosaur, I wish him and you well.

Good morning all from a sunny Glasgow, where its -1 °C.
Another doing of nothing day for me. I'm finding it quite difficult lazing and resting, when the sun is shining on the dust! It goes against my nature to be still and do nothing, but DH seems oblivious to things.
The knowledge that DD, SIL DS2 and DIL are safely home from their separate trips and a lengthy phone call from a GN friend, who is also unwell lightened my mood. What a great gift, genuine friendship is, we are as bad as each other and would have to share the talking for Scotland gold medal.
We are awaiting news of wee Dollie, who hurt her eye at a party yesterday and then had to go for her first Covid vaccination at six years old. As she is CEV, we are concerned that she may have a reaction, she takes after her doting gran, (whoever she is) in many respects.
She was very sorry for herself in the video, complete with over exaggerated trembling lip, with some dramatics thrown in, which DS1 sent last night. Poor wee soul, but papa and I couldn't help, but smile at her acting skills. They are off on holiday tomorrow, so fingers crossed. I cannot believe that the school holidays have started. I loved the Easter holidays, when I was teaching, it signalled a downhill sprint towards the summer ones!
There are a fair number of GM grans, who have seriously ill family members, I am afraid to miss someone out, but all are in my thoughts, I pray that you all find the strength and good health to cope with all that life throws at you. ?
For all, those who are unwell, I wish you a speedy recovery. GMBatty, good luck for today and Ashcombe, I hope your twinges settle down. Thankfully, it sounds like your spray is not causing you any side effects, as it did initially.
It can be quite frightening having angina symptoms, especially away from home. I have them most days now and it drags me down, as it limits what I can do.
Whatever your plans folks , enjoy and make the best your day, if you can! We never know what is awaiting us round the corner!
BlueSapphire
for your Golden Wedding.
Morning Mick, morning All from a sunny, frosty corner of Somerset.
Yesterday went more or less to plan, tip run accomplished, a coffee sat outside, some garden pottering and the filing accomplished. We pondered what one of ours calls shed city at the side of our bungalow and miraculously agreed some changes which will give more space and make it look tidier. All we need is a couple of less cold, sunny and not windy days for the move around. Not for a while then
.
Today we must clear in advance of the decorator arriving tomorrow. We’ll hide in the conservatory for the duration I suspect, or wander off and leave him to it.
Too many poorly people for me to name, get well wishes go to you all. It seems a difficult time for a range of reasons. Thinking of everyone finding life a struggle.
Hope Sunday is kind to us all.
BS, thanks for sharing those two photographs. Very happy memories for you of a wonderful day (and life!). Cheers ?
BS, you look so happy in your photographs. A bittersweet day for you. ?
Enjoy your day with your daughter.
Good morning from a sunny but frosty Essex.
Yesterday was busy with taking little gd to her dance and singing classes, back here for lunch and an afternoon of doings.
We made chocolate lollipops with her making kit she had for Christmas. It comes with gift bags and ribbon - so she will give some to her friends for Easter. ?.
A quiet day today (I hope). Read yesterdays papers, crosswords, try to read my book club offerings. I seem to be unable to get into a book at the moment. Unusual for me but my mind is on other things ?. A dog walk to clear my mind and chicken for dinner. ?.
Grandmadinosaur best wishes to your dh and hope he’s feeling much better. Look after yourself too. ?.
Bluesapphire - what a lovely wedding photo. Happy memories for you. Try not to be sad! ?
Ash take it easy. ?.
Hoping your Sundays are happy! ???
Good morning from frosty Leicestershire.
GrandMattie I remember the trial of getting a prescription when my DS came home after a 10week stay in hospital. I cried in Boots as they said the prescription wasn’t valid as it was handwritten! I hope things go smoothly from now on.
Grandmadinosaur so sorry to hear your DH is in hospital, I hope he recovers soon.
Ashcombe hope you have a better day.
Despite us both being EV both DH and I have not had Covid too badly and can’t wait for negative tests so we can go out.

Here’s Matt.
Good morning everyone from south Manchester. It’s dry and the sun is trying to shine. We will be discussing plans with my stepfather for our mini break up up to Wester Ross later in the year. He can choose - either the end of June or the end of September.
I’m late up I slept so deeply. Himself has just passed me a brew so I shall sit back & read all your posts.
Enjoy Sunday all who can. x
Bluesapphire thinking of you today ??
Thank you for sharing the beautiful wedding photo of you both and the freesias. One of my favourite flowers
Good morning Auntyflo and all x
Good morning Mick and all from a brightening northwest coast. DS may appear today or tomorrow, he’s not great on making appointments but will probably stay over which is nice.
Didn’t come yesterday as had been on long advanced motorbike course. In denial about that bike…
Will have a tidy round, I have another floordrobe in my bedroom so have to tell myself off and sort it.
Starting a new novel by William Trevor. It’s about time I moved out of the English Edwardian period and into 20th century Ireland.
??grandMattie BlueSapphire also to anyone with worries.
A poignant day Bluesapphire you’ll be in my thoughts today. You look a very beautiful bride and groom in your photo. I love freesias and the beautiful scent. ?

Thank you for your concerns over DH it means a lot.
Good morning Mick and everyone from sunny Carlisle.
I am still nursing a 'funny' head and neck so no gardening. I'm up for driving to the garden centre though so that's where I'm off to shortly after a quick coffee. I want some patio roses for my newly enlarged and dug over front border.
Good to hear your DH is has enjoyed a proper meal grandMattie and not good to hear yours is in hospital Grandmadinosaur. Hopefully he and all the other poorlies will be better soon. There seems to be a lot of unwellness on here at the moment.
Good morning from sunny W Kent. Love the wedding photos, I had freesias as well and still like to have them in the house when I can get them.
Hoping to see large GS home from Uni today, we smile as we get fitted in between the girlfriend and holiday work now.
Every good wish to those having a really trying time one way or another.
Good morning from the Lakes where it is sunny.
Having breakfast looking over a field of sheep, so peaceful.
My first holiday for 7 years and I am spe ding it with my GDs.
Have a good Sunday.
BlueSapphire, that’s a beautiful picture of you both. Enjoy your day with your DD. I’m sure you’ll have wonderful memories to get you through today of your special day 60 years ago ?
Good morning Mick, Annie and all. It is very cold and frosty here this morning, although beautifully bright.
Don't think we will be going to Church this morning, as I can't sit still for long and with all the doors and windows open, it will be so cold, and after last week, I didn't feel too great.
Our poor GD and her family were supposed to be going on holiday, but have had to cancel, due to coming down with Covid.
Nice to hear that GrandMattie's DH has a bit of appetite back
Thinking about all those with worries and problems.
Have a good day one and all.
Enjoy Harrigran!
Sorry BlueSapphire I meant 50 years.
Urmstongran laughed again at Matt.
Good morning, late for me, sun in S Hants, very frosty earlier. A rough time for many just lately, hoping the coming days will improve for you all.
