President Zelenky

Yesterday we went to a fab free music concert at a local church in aid of Ukraine. It looked liked us oldies were generous in our contributions. Whilst we were entertained hundreds of boxes of supplies were being finally packed up in the church basement, to be loaded onto a very large lorry, which was setting off for Poland during the night.

Nice to see Zelensky wearing a tea-shirt with Ukraine spelt the English way. Just wonder how much of the "parade" from the other lot will be shown LIVE on our BBC news, and Sky news on Monday the 9th of May?

BBC1 news at 10:30am on sunday morning showing how he started out as a comedian,and its a very good watch. Repeated several times over this weekend.

I doubt he’ll be flattered to know he’s a grans’ heartthrob!

just found out that an interview with President Zelensky is being shown on the BBC news channel on saturday at 17:30pm. During parts of the interview he also speaks,
in what I consider good spoken English.

He is a very brave and inspiring man, compassionate and strong.I knew nothing of the Ukrainian character but from what’s I’ve seen and heard he is a typical Ukrainian male. I can’t see how they can win the war against the obscene Russian
Military who have such weaponry , this has been planned for years and shows the Russian government the opposite of Ukraine one.

In my ideal world I would to love hime to speak more English,
I know he can speak a fair amount of English,
although I don't know how conversant he is but that would really get up the nose of his neighbour,
as HIS command of the English language is very limited.
Then President Zelensky could have dual road signs in his country,like we do in Wales.

Frankly, I thought he was only in late 30s/early 40s

Surprised he’s only 44, thought he would be in his 50s, the beard perhaps.

I wish someone would send Putin an arsenic flavoured Easter Egg ?
